One time I met a female moth. She friended me. We talked for literally 30 mins and then my friend joined. We all sat at a table to chat and then this moth goes "you are my boyfriend nico" and i was like 😀huh. She told me she thought it was a dating game and since I lit her up and accepted her friend request we were dating. Weird situation, but I think she just misunderstood what the game was about.

One time I befriended another vet on Sky, and we had fun exploring and stuff together. Good times. Eventually they introduced me to another player who they said was their gf. Cool. Cuz they asked, I had told them I'm a woman, and we were all adults. We hung out in Sky a couple weeks before they asked for my insta. I thought ok, I don't post anything there anyway. Soon after they asked me IN GAME if I wanted to travel to have a threesome with them. F***. NO. I immediately blocked them on both Sky and Insta and I didn't accept any new friend requests after that. Sky stopped being fun when it seemed like the majority of players were suddenly either just in it to grind/collect cosmetics, or were straight up pervs. Most of the other vets I knew stopped playing. TGC started focusing just on paid purchases and stressful events. I haven't played in a while, which is sad cuz I miss how innocent and beautiful Sky once was to me.

Dude I play this with my wife and there's so many times we meet a new friend, it's a girl and they totally ignore my wife (like don't even friend her) and then follow me around, unlock hug and want to chat a bunch. And so I started talking about where I'm from and asking questions about their day and then talking about my dog. Never told them my gender, literally just went "it's -21 celsius in Finland, prolly not that cold in Japan is it?" Since they told me they were Japanese... they seemed to be disappoinred when I told them that I was from Finland. Eventually they left, sqying that they were going to the sea.

First and only person I blocked. I feel it's important to say: this is why you do not give out any personal information to strangers online. Because you can get into a whole world of trouble if you're not careful. If the gender you've been assigned at birth always, only, and completely matches who you feel you are, thats called being cisgender (the word cis means same) not biological gender. :)

The report button will be invisible if a player is not your friend, but its still there like on a normal friendship tree. You can click on that invisible button to report them normally. It should be on the right side--the second one iirc.

Surprised this moved so slow actually lol. Met a moth in the Hidden Forest social space recently who friended me (also a moth, but slightly less moth-y than this moth), along with a few veterans. Flew around the social space for a bit with us all holding hands, tried to climb up the back of the Prairie temple, and generally just looked lost. One of the veterans lit a candle at the chat bench and talked a bit with the moth, but got up after a minute or two, so I decided to sit down and try and figure out where the moth was trying to take us all. Went through the introductions - he was talking in broken English, but still understandable for the most part. He said his name and that he was a boy, and me, being nonbinary and not sure at the time how many Sky players were accepting of LGBTQ+ people, didn’t say a gender either way (though I was wearing the Pouty Porter’s hair, which others in the past have assumed equals boy). He then said good morning, I think, but he phrased it in a weird way that confused me. It could have been a translation error, but either way, I stopped typing for a moment to try and figure out what he meant. And after the 10-ish seconds that I paused, suddenly out of nowhere, he typed “I love you 😘”, emoji and all. Now, I would have been willing to excuse this as something being mangled in translation, if not for the kissing emoji. I mean, we’d been talking to each other for less than five minutes, and here he was proclaiming his love for me. So obviously this made me very uncomfortable, and in a moment of panic, I just stood up and walked over to the two poor veterans (who have been standing on the side the whole time, doing the dismayed expression more and more the longer we talked), trying to let them know with expressions that I had no clue what this moth’s plan was, while also trying to figure out a way to leave without seeming rude. And that’s when this moth stood up, walked over, and started holding out his hand to me repeatedly. I ignored him, but he was incredibly persistent, following me every step I took around the social space. Eventually I clicked the “no” expression several times, and even then, this moth wouldn’t stop offering his hand. Lying down, pretending to be afk, and the “no” expression again multiple times all failed, he kept offering his hand to me, and eventually I just.. closed the app. Didn’t even go home, just closed it and took a break from the game. He’s since been the main star in a constellation I have that I use to keep friends I may potentially block (which gets a lot of use, actually. Either Sky has too many weird people playing, or I just suck at picking friends… hmm). The only reason I never actually blocked him was because I haven’t seen him online since.

I mess around with a bunch of different length hairstyles as a girl, luckily haven't met anyone like this yet, but I have encountered people that were very quick to ask about communicating on things like discord when I've known them for a few minutes. If I speak to a friend a lot, I'm happy to share socials to keep in contact with them, but when you've met someone once it's hard to say if you'd be friends in any way other than in game.
I once met a player that was very nice, helped me with the krills and all that, so we became friends and after like 20 minutes he asked me if I was a girl and how old I was. I said I was 18 (which was true) and he started talking about how we couldn't date then because he was just 15 (like... why would I even want that?). So I said I was only into girls anyway and when he read that he was absolutely weird and since then he just ignores me and I am awfully happy about that 😂

He takes me to the top of a mountain and says something like “do you want to be something more than friends”. Thinking I have the option to say no, I tell him I already have a girlfriend and i am not looking forwards to dating any man anyways, since I am a lesbian. Jeff Bezos asks me if i have ever been with a man. I tell him I haven’t because I feel no attraction towards men. And Jeff Bezos asks and asks desperately like he’s going to make me break up with my girlfriend and change sexuality that way (no) and it starts to get really annoying. One time I befriended another vet on Sky, and we had fun exploring and stuff together. Good times. Eventually they introduced me to another player who they said was their gf. Cool. Cuz they asked, I had told them I'm a woman, and we were all adults. We hung out in Sky a couple weeks before they asked for my insta. I thought ok, I don't post anything there anyway. Soon after they asked me IN GAME if I wanted to travel to have a threesome with them. F***. NO. I immediately blocked them on both Sky and Insta and I didn't accept any new friend requests after that. Sky stopped being fun when it seemed like the majority of players were suddenly either just in it to grind/collect cosmetics, or were straight up pervs. Most of the other vets I knew stopped playing. TGC started focusing just on paid purchases and stressful events. I haven't played in a while, which is sad cuz I miss how innocent and beautiful Sky once was to me.

Met a moth in the Hidden Forest social space recently who friended me (also a moth, but slightly less moth-y than this moth), along with a few veterans. Flew around the social space for a bit with us all holding hands, tried to climb up the back of the Prairie temple, and generally just looked lost. One of the veterans lit a candle at the chat bench and talked a bit with the moth, but got up after a minute or two, so I decided to sit down and try and figure out where the moth was trying to take us all.
Went through the introductions - he was talking in broken English, but still understandable for the most part. He said his name and that he was a boy, and me, being nonbinary and not sure at the time how many Sky players were accepting of LGBTQ+ people, didn’t say a gender either way (though I was wearing the Pouty Porter’s hair, which others in the past have assumed equals boy).
He then said good morning, I think, but he phrased it in a weird way that confused me. It could have been a translation error, but either way, I stopped typing for a moment to try and figure out what he meant. And after the 10-ish seconds that I paused, suddenly out of nowhere, he typed “I love you 😘”, emoji and all.
Now, I would have been willing to excuse this as something being mangled in translation, if not for the kissing emoji. I mean, we’d been talking to each other for less than five minutes, and here he was proclaiming his love for me. So obviously this made me very uncomfortable, and in a moment of panic, I just stood up and walked over to the two poor veterans (who have been standing on the side the whole time, doing the dismayed expression more and more the longer we talked), trying to let them know with expressions that I had no clue what this moth’s plan was, while also trying to figure out a way to leave without seeming rude.
And that’s when this moth stood up, walked over, and started holding out his hand to me repeatedly. I ignored him, but he was incredibly persistent, following me every step I took around the social space. Eventually I clicked the “no” expression several times, and even then, this moth wouldn’t stop offering his hand. Lying down, pretending to be afk, and the “no” expression again multiple times all failed, he kept offering his hand to me, and eventually I just.. closed the app. Didn’t even go home, just closed it and took a break from the game.
He’s since been the main star in a constellation I have that I use to keep friends I may potentially block (which gets a lot of use, actually. Either Sky has too many weird people playing, or I just suck at picking friends… hmm). The only reason I never actually blocked him was because I haven’t seen him online since.
ugh I had this happen to me as a moth not even a week into playing and it was a little funny, but mostly creepy. ended up blocking them. not a great experience lol
I mess around with a bunch of different length hairstyles as a girl, luckily haven't met anyone like this yet, but I have encountered people that were very quick to ask about communicating on things like discord when I've known them for a few minutes. If I speak to a friend a lot, I'm happy to share socials to keep in contact with them, but when you've met someone once it's hard to say if you'd be friends in any way other than in game.

I once met a player that was very nice, helped me with the krills and all that, so we became friends and after like 20 minutes he asked me if I was a girl and how old I was. I said I was 18 (which was true) and he started talking about how we couldn't date then because he was just 15 (like... why would I even want that?). So I said I was only into girls anyway and when he read that he was absolutely weird and since then he just ignores me and I am awfully happy about that 😂

So I was chilling one day going around and I made this friend let’s call him Jeff Bezos (no reason)
Well me and Jeff Bezos talked for a bit, and we started to log in to hang out every day, we had fun, I taught him some things about the game and everything was nice and calm and normal.
One day I log in and as usual we start talking. Eventually Jeff Bezos tells me he wants to take me somewhere. He takes me to the top of a mountain and says something like “do you want to be something more than friends”. Thinking I have the option to say no, I tell him I already have a girlfriend and i am not looking forwards to dating any man anyways, since I am a lesbian. Jeff Bezos asks me if i have ever been with a man. I tell him I haven’t because I feel no attraction towards men.
And Jeff Bezos asks and asks desperately like he’s going to make me break up with my girlfriend and change sexuality that way (no) and it starts to get really annoying. I leave the game and never speak to him again, even though he follows me everywhere.
