The bloop, with a long pause, is my favorite bite up here in michigan on those deep, clear lakes. Gotta get a rod that'll cast a mile and just chase emerging fish. Good luck, brandon, pulling for you.
Another good video with top of the line quality and shots you see on the million subscriber channels, we really appreciate the work you put into this channel. Off topic but if you were in FL on a kayak that could only hold 4 rods what 4 rods out of your series would you pick? Thanks in advance!
@mikewitdaOBS thank you! I would say the 4 rods would have to be old faithful, do all, flippy floppy (if there's any heavier cover), and one spinning kinda shaky.
@@brandoncobbfishingthank you sir! Just wanted to pick your brain because I’m always fighting what to bring with me but your Good vibes rod is always in a holder on the kayak regardless of season or time of day, not gonna name drop any other companies but your line specifically performs WAY above it’s price point I can honestly say I grab your setups more than my higher dollar rods! I’ve got 5 of your casting rods and definitely need to add some spinning to my lineup
@mikewitdaOBS good vibes is definitely good if you have offshore grass. If you haven't tried it the walking stick has a similar feel to good vibes but in graphite rather than composite. I use it if I'm trying to make more accurate chatterbait/lipless casts rather than open water
Been using that Century rod for poppers all year so far. Regular tip really allows for great control. You can basically work the bait in place while actually bringing it back toward you only a minimum amount.
