    Good point tho,but it's normal to have people disagree with you xD

      if you are talking about me replying to people, I do it for engagement. But also, I just want to clarify some misunderstanding if I feel like my points were misunderstood. I am not really a good communicator, that's why I do these kinds of videos where I express my own thoughts in real time so it can help me get better at talking.

    I don't understand the purpose of this video and I'm not trolling, it's just not making sense to me. I don't play PGR but does it share a lot aspects as far as how they implement their in-game store? Is there a pattern of Kuro "copying" how they do something in one game into another? Or does the PGR team have any influence on the Wuwa dev team? If there is, then I take back the above since there is proof that they do this. But if they don't, there's really no point in griping about it since... no one knows what Kuro is up to with Wuwa. I'm being very optimistic that they'll probably do something that benefits the gamers since they actually have a track record of respecting gamers time and being super generous about in-game currency. Until then, no point in saying "I don't understand why they do this" since they haven't done anything yet, lol

      My video's goal is to talk about the current skin system in PGR and how the same company (Kuro) might use the same monetization model/system with their skins. I know we don't know what Kuro plans for WuWa, so we don't know what they will do in the future. I am merely speculating WuWa's future based off their previous product, PGR. I can't see why they won't use the same system if it works for them right now.

      @@the_tuskboth make a very good point, from what I've heard and seen it seems pgr has been their playground to create wuwa the ui in wuwa is much better than pgr right. Your point about matching skins is indeed very valid it would be free money! And if they're concerned about but that style fits for character a but it doesn't match with character b you just spin it on an alternative timeline like league did. But yeah if they will actually do it is a different story and chromas are indeed cool but foreign in gatchas it seems. I've seen spoilers for their jinhsi skin and they do put a lot of care in them if it was just an outfit change then yes it's quite easy to make but making a fitting skin with gorgeous animations and a cool weapon skin on top + new voice lines does take a considerable amount of time. Modders are also incredibly talented there are better custom league skins than some of their 25 euro skins
      Extra rant (tho quality is often quite all over the place with them they recently released a skin for their new champ that looks horrible in game cuz vfx hides the cool details and they're gonna release a 250 euro jinx skin that's a pretty much 3chromas in a skin so it's just a scam buy if people pay who can blame them)

      @the_tusk  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Loller271 Yeah, skins that requires model, animation, and skill effects change and a weapon skins does take some time since it's pretty much like creating a new character, that's why I didn't talk about them. I already knew Kuro is gonna cook when it comes to those types of skins. As for pricing, you talked about the new Jinx skin, I'm pretty sure Kuro won't do something like that. I haven't heard of them being that really greedy with skin pricings, but in all honesty, I feel like some skins need to be a little cheaper, like their "basic" skin sets, or the first skins that they get which basically just change their model. But I believe most of them are become available for free so I don't think people really purchase them with RC.

      @@the_tusk yeah I trailed off a bit much with my league rant but that's their main way of making money while they already have their gatcha the skins are an extra and I agree chromas (simple color changes) should be cheap but selling a great skin for 25 bucks has become quite normalized and if it's really well made I don't bat an eye at it either it's only an issue if they're genuinely trying to scam you

    I'm a bit confused on what you mean or why...? I personally enjoy what they have with PGR now because it's friendly to us. Do you need to wait a bit sometimes? Yes. But they give us the special gacha system where obviously you can pay, but you can also get it for free if you decide to use your BC for it, or not even need to spend as much if you just want the skin. Hell you can even get it early if you're lucky. That's extremely generous considering these not just drastically change looks but add special effects, and you can get it potentially without spending? Also they do re-run some of these skins quite a lot. Biancas Ink skin, Alphas priestess skin, and Kamui's halloween skin come to mind as often put back into the shops. I'm just confused on why you want literal pallet changes as paid things. That's just really... I guess lazy? And at least for me as a day one PGR player, not up snuff with what's been given, and I'd feel kinda peeved if they just sold color swap for like 20 bucks. I think the community wouldn't like that either. Regardless too as a gacha game you're already prone to dishing out a SHIT ton of money, so adding another way to rake consumers just seems kinda... Not it.

      I'm not sure if this helps but
      My three points are
      1. Why are some skins are in a cycle of being purchasable and non-purchasable. I get seasonal themed skins, but why are the generic ones like the New-Life Skin set or skins that just changed the character's models?
      2. They should offer skins that changes palette colors for cheap prices, as I said in the video around 3-4 dollars (considering transaction fees they might have to pay). I offered that option because it seems like it's taking them so long to add skins, so I mentioned something as basic as palette changes.
      3. They should have skin sets for everyone or for at least a popular team combination (since it's harder to do in WuWa due to the game offering more team composition i.e not limited to one single element per team). One example would be to have everyone or at least try to get as many of them have a skin where they just basically wear modern clothes.
      In response to one of your other statements, I did not say anything about some skins being able to be purchased through Black Cards offering a free to play option to purchase skins. This is because this is a great feature that they have, I am merely pointing out nitpicks that I have, I didn't mention any of the good things about their current skin system. This is my own fault, and I didn't see how some people might think I don't like the whole system overall.

    I think we should also have a skin on the paid battle pass “not like an actual skin” but the currency to unlock one you like in the shop, genshin is a lost cause but WuWa can capitalize on it
    Edit: 10:33 it doesn’t take long at all people in the community literally build skin mods in weeks with way less resources, I’m one of those believers that if you do not have skins in the game in my eyes your game is a failure

    No it will look predatory if they do skins like that. There is a difference in moba and an open world gacha. Majority of gacha players like to play f2p. Also skins in gacha don't really sell well so they won't allocate resource into that.Moba has to release skin as monetary aspect cause you can get heroes for free.What would it look like in public if you get a character for 200$ then you still gonna spend 30$ for a skin effect. that would look predatory to the eyes of majority.

      Skins do sell well if made well. That's all Azur Lane is known for. Skins.

    • @the_tusk
      @the_tusk  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would have to disagree, it doesn't have to be predatory, and PGR is an example of that. Firstly, Kuro is very generous with handing out currencies and free five stars to their players so most people can easily get the character's they want if they are frugal with their currencies. Look at me for example, I am a casual player that barely plays most of the events that PGR and WuWa give, yet I can still get most of the characters I want. So, the $200 dollar character is not much of a big problem unless you are a gambling addict/ want dupes.
      I also mentioned in my video to make skins costs around $2-3 just for a palette change or at least make basic model changes that doesn't have skin effects that cost around $10 (example of this skin would be the characters wearing modern looking clothes).
      The only way for skins to be predatory is if they sell them through a spin to win system, which I know Kuro does. HOWEVER, in Kuro's defense they do let their players spend in-game currency like Black Cards (Asterites in WuWa or Primogems in Genshin) when they have the skins be purchasable through a spin system. So there is a free to play option of earning them.
