Äntligen fick jag tiden att uppdatera mig på ditt projekt. Det ser toppen ut! Jag tror det är stor risk att stormen kommer göra sig mycket illa om den ska slåss med ditt tält nu.

Tackar. Jag är nog lite av en samlare, magneterna har suttit på ett verktygsskåp i garaget i över tio år😅. Blev över från jobbet, men nu kom det till användning

Kul att följa dig! Ifall du behöver fler linsträckare kan det vara en idé att köpa dessa från annan leverantör än Helleberg för att hålla ner priset. Min uppfattning är att det inte är hällebergs egna.

Magneter på innertältet mot yttertält kanske.
Tackar för tipset 👍 funderar dock på att använda mig av orginal innertältet I mesh. Slipper jag få in massor av drivsnö kan jag nog få det riktigt torrt och bra där. Det är långt mycket bättre sytt och därav rymligare.
Härligt! Vad tycker du om att sätta silnylon på sidopanelen på HMG original innertält istället för att använda det gula innertältet? Jag tror Jörgen gjorde nåt liknande på sitt x-mid pro tält och sydde silnylon på original myggnätet i sitt x-mid tält så att det blir mindre drag i innertältet.
Jag tänker att det inte blir så mycket dragit i tältet p ga stormmatorna. Men jag ska absolut fundera på det, stort tack för tipset 🙂

Kände med fingret i luften lite😅 Nej rena chansningar. Jag vet ju att i skogen kommer den kanske till och med kunna sjunka, men på fjället tror jag absolut det räcker om jag stampar snön lite innan. Men mycket av vad jag gjort kommer visa sig på fjället om det duger eller inte. Ska bli väldigt spännande. Plattan är ca 280x280cm. Det blir nog väldigt mycket kraft om snölasten blir stor och såklart även när det stormar
Du kan ju alltid packa hårdare där plattan ska vara. Hoppa lite med pjäxorna. Sen får du kanske hålla lite avstånd till sittbrunnen (antar du ska ha en?)
@@fredrik920 Japp, jag har gjort kolfiberstången extra lång. Så tanken är att när jag gräver ur i tältet så förlänger jag stången. Så snön under den inte riskerar att kollapsa
I have been following your project on Facebook for some time. I'm actually going to spend a week in Finnish Lapland ( not comparable to Sarek :D ) at the end of February with a friend. We are going to use Liteway Pyraomm Max. I ordered the same inner tent four months ago. Today I pitched the pyramid indoors and tried the inner tent under it. Would love to hear what kind of modifications you ended up with it. I'm thinking about making some attachments to all the four corners, around 1/3 from the bottom, as it sags quite a lot. Still, it might be a little bit too crampy for two men, so maybe we have to ditch it. I'm 188 cm so snow flaps would be great because without those the usable area inside gets a little bit too small when you stack snow on the outside. With the snow flaps I guess the stacked snow doesn't affect the area so much?
You have pretty heavy pegs. Have you considered anything else? Maybe Swiss Piranhas snow anchors or some other snow flukes/anchors? Those are quite expensive though if you need 16. I'm thinking about making my own from HDPE.
I guess you are going to pull your gear in a sled. Why not use the sled as a stand for the pole? We are going to ski with rucksacks (maybe I'll take Pullpac with me also).
Maybe you have already checked out the Finnish guy Teemu Hartikainen who is currently hiking the Norge på Langs. If not, you should check rinkkajapulkka.com/norjan-halki-2024/. Thanks 🙂. I didn't like the inner tent from Aliexpress at all, it hangs a lot as you say. I have tried in various ways to make it "more spacious" without success. I have also heard from others who have used it that the fabric breathes very poorly and has therefore got a lot of condensation/ice on the inside. As I have snow flaps and intend to block out much of the drifting snow, I am now thinking of using the original mesh inner tent instead. I have tested it for 8-9 nights in the coldest -22°c but unfortunately no wind. Then there has been some condensation on the inside of the outer fabric but still completely dry in the inner tent. So I think it looks very promising.
Thanks for the tip on snow anchors, I'm thinking about it a bit and haven't quite figured out how I want to do it. I will probably take at least 8-10 of the ones I have with me. But as you say, there is a lot of weight to save in there.
I've actually thought about putting the center pole in the sled, but think it might get messy as the inner tent will lie over it. It will therefore be in the way of the inner tent. Thanks for the link to the Finnish guy, I'll definitely check it out 👍.

@@Fjall-Anders The solid inner tent seems unbreathable but at least there's the mesh door and mesh on the top. Hard to believe it would be less breathable than for example Hilleberg's inner tents. At least it would be a little bit warmer than mesh inner tent. I have a full mesh inner for my Pyraomm but it's floor is like 30 denier at most so it seems quite fragile but maybe I will try it too. A full mesh inner tent could actually work as anything between half and full inner if set properly. So your experience with the mesh inner is that it prevents the hoar frost falling on you from the inside of the outer tent? Using a proper outer bag/quilt or bivy that resists water obviously helps a lot.
About the snow flaps, is there any specific reason you didn't make them full length on the sides? And what is that orange tape you are using? It seems to grip pretty well.
The Finnish guy I mentioned, Teemu, has a custom made solid half inner tent from Liteway. If his experiences with it are good, maybe I'll order one too.
My wife and I have a TH-cam channel, Jalkapatikka. It's an oldish Finnish word for a hike or distance traveled on foot :) Not many videos yet but more to come! There's one video with English subtitles, a hike around Kebnekaise from last Easter.
