The bad EGG is a flag which gets activated when you cheat. If you try to hatch it, when it hatches the game will get glitches and then you'll lose your entire game data. No options, you cannot release it, so just delete the save file and restart the game completely with new progress.
Charizard is fire/flying type, while articuno is ice/flying type It should be easy for charizard to defeat articuno since charizard has type advantage and high sp.attck
But like what Agnibha Sadhukhan said if you train a pokemon with love and trust it will become stronger, just like Ash's pikachu that beat ground type with electric attack

in Gen1 Pokemon Red,you can get all Starters just by Glitching and Corrupting the Game.
I play on emulator and I also did a glitch where I trade with my self (I got all starters through trade lol)
