Actually, the unofficial title of this instrumental is Saiki's Pee Break. It's purpose was to give Saiki a restroom break and to let her vocal chords rest before the next set. This was written before her surgery.
Haha I was not expecting a tittle like that, but yeah it makes sense, is nice to have a little break

Yes.
She was in serious pain trying to sing when she finally had the surgery done I believe August 2017. There is a date in 2018 going around that is a mistake that got echoed by some fans. I remember when it happened, def 2017.
The band did a LOT of things differently to ease Saiki's care of her voice on her return. Her vocal channel volume increased, she and Miku swapped vocals in concert a number of times during this period, sometimes the other four increased the instrumental intensity so Saiki didn't have to carry that 100% of the time, a couple of instrumentals like this, more time with Miku carrying on with the crowd and getting a couple of songs all her own, and (too rarely) a magical moment halfway though with only Kanami on an acoustic guitar and vocal backup supporting Saiki pouring her heart out but with less vocal stress required.
Also Saiki has done more training with a coach to sing with a more open throat and less stress. So she sounds even better these days IMHO.

Well, for me today miku is pretty good enough imho and she proved that on their recent album "unseen world". 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
She's "the pinky and the brain" for band-maid, she's the creator of the band, lyrics genius, the promotor, the entertainer, she can be everything the band needs her to be, even gave up the lead vocal and learn how to play guitar until owned a beautiful piece of art signature guitar from zemaitis called "flappy pigeon". Back then she's just a tiny japanese girl who worked at maid cafe. 😂
But someday when miku reach the level of kanami (its just my imagination), i cant imagine how "phenomenal" their album and songs will be. 😆

You know? I think she can be at the same level as Kanami in some point and they could do some crazy dual guitar work, that would be astonishing!

@@Temporal72 imo, she (miku) will never be at the same level as kanamincho (based on kanami's interviewed back then), she's not a shredder type guitarist (cmiiw).

Learning to play with eyes closed is handy when you get hit by those strobes.
Ohhh yeah haha I've played is some gigs that the light is pretty intense, I can imagine that for them they've had some gigs with a lot more light intensity

Two members (MISA - Bass, Akane - Drums) are classically trained pianists and musicians who studied at the Tokyo Academy of Music while Kanami, the lead guitarist, has also been playing piano since the age of 3 or 4 but is concert standard (almost unbelievably, given her skills, she only switched to guitar about 10 years ago!) They all have superb musical ability as well as passion, a lack of ego and the drive to play real, in your face, Rock which is why they are THE best live Rock band on Earth right now. The only band I've seen that is playinglive like bands I went to see in the 70's, such as Led Zeppelin or Sabbath or Zappa. Music they write themselves, real guitars, drums and bass played loudly and with passion as well as powerful Rock vocals. They are all really close friends and know how to have fun together on stage, confident as they are in each others’ abilities and skills. They've revived the classic Rock sound and given the genre a much needed kick in the ass, as Babymetal have done for
Metal. Future reactions I'd recommend, as they really shine brightest live, would be from the DVD they released in April. MISA MISA MISA! at this Okyu-ji (Zepp Tokyo Apr 13th 2018) they played "Carry on Living" next Daydreaming was earlier in the set.

In this live concert, the next song "Wonderland" had a melody in the high register and was very hard on the vocalist.
This song was chosen to give Saiki a break and let her sing the next song with all her might.

This is like Miku's song 'Rock In Me', basically a bathroom break for Saiki, and a chance to rest her voice.

Band Maid lore is that the working title for this song is " Saiki's pee break ". I don't know this to be true. Have only seen it comments. But I want to believe it. 🤘
Hi Doobie. Other B-M instrumentals that follow the "Pee" theme are "Without Holding Back", "Don't Be Long", & hopefully a full version of "Hard Wash". P.S "Shake That" is not an instrumental. Lol

Doll$Boxx is/was the band. Currently lead singer Fuki is doing other things and the band has morphed into Gacharic Spin.
Whenever Fuki and they join forces for a concert (rare) they are Doll$Boxx again. Sort of.

Correction: this is actually a collection of live performances, though I see in the comments there that the audio was replaced by studio track, which annoyed the hell out of fans because they were so superb live.
But hey, it is a solid look and listen to a great band.
Fuki also sang in the group Lightbringer among others.
We all love how good Miku has become playing her guitar. BUT her greatest accomplishment is persuading 4 strangers to dress in a Maid costumes and play Rock 'n Roll. Both Akane and MISA create their lines from the music Kanami sends them (internet).

This strikes me as odd.....most of the adulation for this band, these written comments, all read and sound very similar.
ALMOST as though they were written by the same person....and unusual grammatical errors by people with English-speaking-sounding names. Claims that can’t be taken seriously - LOTS OF THEM.
I looked up a name or two online, and can find no evidence that they actually exist. BeenVerified, Twitter, Facebook- that’s very strange.
Now who would do that ? The same puppet-masters pumping music into the speakers at live shows for these musicians to strum their guitars to ?
For money?

The only thing they can’t manipulate? The music really isn’t very good.
