Clock shows 1pm dad returns from work and I've just completed level 2. I close my famiclone because we're going to the beach. After a joyous day there I come home and turn on my famiclone and go through to complete level 2 again. Wonderful times
I remember a trick I did was to hold down all the directional keys. That way when ever you hit something you would recover from the skid before the spin without moving further than necessary. I used a circular d pad tho. Don't know if it worked for key type pads

Love this game. I have it on the sega saturn MSX collection. Only difference from the NES version is spritework and the fuel meter being a bar instead of a counter in this version.
