As always, very informative and educational videos Kaitlyn. However, my hunting history never included your area with food plots and leased land. I grew up only hunting public land but it's good to know how the "other side" hunts. Keep up the great work and dedication!

Outstanding video! As always very educational and informative. Believe me, you hit on topics like "What are the neighbors doing" that so many of us find so frustrating. I've hunted grounds with permissions for years peacefully and the very next 2 years there were gunshots going off everywhere around us who obviously had permissions on adjacent properties. But the moves we made proved over and over to be more fruitful. Northeast Missouri is so fraught with competition over the last 5 decades.
I'm not going to lie, I got a little distracted around the 14:00 minute mark. I was researching something on the googles and heard her start explaining the characteristics of a mature buck and I swear I thought she was talking about me. The "short legs, the significant belly sag, the fat neck, the sway back, the rump rolls down hill", that all matches me lol.... In 2023, I now realize that I identify as an old mature whitetail!
I got to the party late , but very well done Kaitlyn , Very informative , very clean and crisp delivery . We've been blessed to carry the same lease for years and it's 60% ag the reaming acerage is hardwoods and bottoms which are very wet. Everything you mentioned is spot on for trying to manage our little piece of paradise. Thanks for sharing.

When we mature as bowhunters we tend to drive ourselves insane buy chasing (1) big mature buck... It is truly amazing when the chess match falls in your favor....we are all crazy lol 😆
Where do you get the money to waste on leased property and I’m sure it’s not cheap
A person who has rented hunting grounds in our country must do something by law, for example, have at least 2 huntsmen who will work there and pay for their work, you can't just shoot at the stars and do nothing for more than one year, they will quickly tell you goodbye, you need to count the animals in the grounds every year counting their tracks and hand over the data if if not, then you will be banned from hunting grounds for a year.
