You guys did exactly what you were supposed to do when you had the door issue. After the initial surprise. You didn't panic, you evaluated the problem and worked through a solution. And I honestly didn't see an issue with your dad. Of course, being a protective father, I might not.
Yeah, people said dad panicked. Nah, he looked shocked for 2 seconds (as anyone would) but that was all.
So you came to florida when it's 100° out. Your putting your hair through alot 😂
i have flown on Southwest maxs many time and im still here great airplanes and southwest maxs has lots of leg room and they are quiet also
Your maintenance, you flew and got down safe and sound and it open app 3 times and when you had your maintenance guy, he was showing you the part that snapped was an awesome closer and he fixed that that part of it, so the door would stay shut so you wouldn't have any problems again. You did a good job well.Experience drive in the airplanes.Safety that could be dangerous
Hello from Toronto Ontario Canada ...
Why don't you get involved with the EAA young eagles flights? You would be great flying young people.
IM glad you are safe and teel your dad to keep that door shut and not closing it at the last minute
I’d rather you get the AC fixed before worrying about the oxygen setup. 😊
Can't help liking Pops he seems a great fella, and he brought you in to the world. G (UK).
Do you check cyl head temp before adjusting cowl flaps
Fabulous video kay you are so great and a privilege watching & listening to you
I had a door open in my cessna 140 once. My passenger bumbed the door and pushed it open. I grabbed him by his belt to keep him from falling out the door. Did not have shoulder harnes and his belt was kinda loose. I was really scared he would fall out the door so i banked the plane for him on the high side to help pull him back in. Good luck to everyone
Come see us at Stearman’s in Benton, Ks. Great airport, excellent food!! You look GREAT!
Hello from Barrie, Ontario
My first flight was in a open cockpit Waco biplane (UPF?) with Paul Mantz at the Orange county airport in California when I was around 7-10 years old.
Your Emergency was picked up and quiet was given!
The only think unsafe about a door popping open is getting distracted.
You’re getting plenty of mileage out of a simple door pooping event in flight😂😂
It opened on 3 different flights😊
Can I give you a hug 1 time please?
@@FlyWithKayyou should maybe have a chat with the previous owner, I doubt it just started with you, Kay. Get recompense for fixing it.
Sorry I missed the livestream earlier. Have a safe trip..

With my Oxygen Concentrator I recommend a MH boom cannula from Sporty’s Pilot Shop. It attaches to my Bose M20 Headset.
Greetings from the Cayman Islands
Mike Patey built and flies/flew Draco, Turbulence, Scrappy and others. He is going to convert an Albatrose into a backwoods floating/flying camper. He and his brother “Mark” own Best Tugs, an aviation tug for airplanes.
Did the power go out in your area during the Hurricane?
Velocity aircrafts is in Florida. My understanding is that they will let you have a free test flight. (Especially if you put the test flight on your channel).
Beautiful ❤️
Great LIVE Kay. ❤ Have a great day, enjoy Florida.
We Love Max!
High from Northern Wisconsin , always enjoy your videos.
But the hair is holding up!!
You're always welcome north of the border!😃
The penguin!
Add a couple of minutes with bloopers at the end of each video .
If you stream from the TH-cam app you have to do it portrait. If you use another app like prisim you can stream in landscape
Looks good to me
We miss the old airplane, Kay.
Hi Kay.
Unlock orientation from the top right drop down.
@KAY do you have Fridge Magnets as I'm collecting them
Live to replaying it to see what I missed.
Hello from Carrollton Ga.
i love your shows
Hi from northeast philly.did I see you look at another single engine plane less expensive on TH-cam and have ever visited northeast air in philadelphia 😮.
Hello KI really enjoyed watching your videos. I am quite surprised that over pushing 18000 views on this video. You have over a 175000 members. And yet you're 19 away from a 1000 likes and it is 2:30 in the morning on Saturday. When I'm watching this video so I can't believe that just going on. I don't know what people want. You know. Refuse to push the light button. Keep coming back. Anyway, I wanted to be a pilot all my life and I have a vision problem where the I have a disease called Anne leopia which is actually just the deterioration of the optic nerve in one eye. And right now my vision in my right eye is like 2200. I'm sitting 18 inches away from my tablet. And I cannot make out your picture on the screen. And the vision in my left eye is 2020 with my glasses off. Orty with my glasses off but near near vision is pretty bad, so I've gotta wear 5 tools. Or magnifying glasses on. Anyway, my left eye. I don't have any problems with so but back in the day when I thought I could afford it. I checked and could not pass a medical physical because of my eyes. Now that I'm 65 and can afford.
Pilot's license. I don't have the money so I do a lot of flying on the computer on flightsteps. That's where I get my Kix.If you will anyway appreciate you keep up the good wrong from wichita kansas
People are lazy and unfair. So won’t click like or subscribe.
Don’t you have to start in landscape? My son tells me this anyway.
Say Hi To Pops For Us:
wow. Door popping open 3 times. That`s not good hope the problem gets fixed soon. Stay safe Kay. oh. Have you flown a tail dragger yet?
Wonder what the odds are the previous owner knew about it and said nothing?
@@RetreadPhoto Very true. or maybe thought it was a simple fix but didn`t fly as much as Kay for it to fail. At least it was fixed right this time and her and pop`s will be safe now.
Good Video Kay

Hi Kay
im sure your dad willed it to open lol sux it took 4 times ? better late than never
hello
Gg😊
I don't want to sound bad , but if you were higher would it have been different results
Her Piper Seneca III is not a pressurized aircraft.
@rafaucett according to the specs on the Piper 3, she can fly up as high as 25,000.
I figure with no oxygen, Kay would never take the chance to fly to high.
I am glad she was finally able to have this problem corrected. Looking forward to future flights
I have seen others do as she does, but Kay is simply the best.
@@CSTA2024 I was referring to sudden decompression if a door or window failed at altitude with a pressurized fuselage. You might want to look up the (USA) FAA rules about when oxygen is required and at what altitudes. Non-pressurized aircraft can have or be fitted with oxygen systems. (Note: I am not pilot. I have flown with a pilot friend on occasion in small general aviation aircraft. One was a twin engine Piper Seminole PA-44-180 which is similar to Kay's Piper Seneca III.)
@rafaucett That's enough attitude for me, thanks. Yeah, I flew a few times myself, taking off and landing to decide if I wanted to become a pilot, commercials, or private.
And didn't like the feeling, kind of like driving a motorcycle, the dangers with my life, that sort of thing. I know enough about pressure in a fuselage and because her newer 3 can fly higher, I was wondering whether the results would have been different if she was just a few thousand feet higher.
But thanks for your input, it was, enlightening.
Will you pop round to see me 1 time please?
Brst holel breakfast
Next time you fly, I appreciate it.Let me know I'm on my phone that you're going.I don't different trips.I didn't get a nose until I said it today that you're running beyond on my phone.Let me keep me in contact for you , please
Try that in English please?
Is this the reading comments show? I'm out.
That’s rude
Why watch it then if you don't like it don't watch says more about you you nit
