Im finally understanding im in a season of solitude. Ive changed the term from lonely to solitude. It's time for me to not lean on others but Jesus. It's ok to be in solitude. I was feeling lonely as well. But, there is power in this season

Being lonely is terrible and can be troublesome. We can be lonely even with many people around us. In church, even in the club. We can have several moments of loneliness in a day. Watch your mind and thoughts during those moments. Thank you Pastor Blake.
Some of us are fine with being single, we like solitude but we don't want to be alone forever. Aloneness gets tiring. Always by yourself gets old. However leaving the frying pan of aloneness to go to the fire of a bad relationship isn't sensible either. And i think we shouldnt only have these options but unfortunately, if men are not looking or not brave to pursue then thats what is available.

Yes!! And it took me so so long to realise that being on my own let's me be the most productive. Now when people are saying to me Let's get together, let's catch up, I tend to not want to do that as much. That's more overwhelming to me than solitude.

I was ‘raised’ by a narcissistic mother. I am now in the process of leaving a narcissistic husband. I feel very alone. I need to say this. I understand that being alone can be a time to serve others. I also understand how it can make you even more susceptible to depression. I have visited many people who are elderly or live alone with no one. They look for you to be there for them and it’s hard to do when your struggling yourself in many ways they don’t understand. You can only do but so much because of your own struggles. I’m just being honest. 🙏🏽💔
