People seem unable to understand this video was recorded *LIVE* on-stage and no 'tricks' were involved in the vocals other than the fact that many professional vocalists really can 'mimic' the sound of instruments...at least with regard to the limits of human anatomy.

Not at all. It is Frida's lead anyway, not a Agnetha lead. This version is great without the production, wall-of-sound. All those people on stage at the end was a who's who in Swedish entertainment.
Agnetha as a soprano, when they sing in harmony, could be fairly easily replaced by another soprano. Frida's voice is more unique. However, where Agnetha shined was when she sang the lead and she could really emote and pour her heart out with moving lyrics. Why this works is because you need Frida's singular voice for the 'third' voice of ABBA, but she could be paired with any other quality soprano and it would sound much the same. If Agnetha sung with a different mezzo, it still wouldn't sound like ABBA. Even Bjorn has said that Frida, when she sings in her upper register, has this special 'metallic' or 'bell-like' quality that contributes to the ABBA sound and is why no one else can really duplicate it successfully.
