    Spent five years as a technician with babbitts sport center near silver lake sand dunes, from my hands on experience from 2012-2017 the design and execution of the machines were greatly improved while the build quality went down hill at the same rate. Replacing all the ball joints and bushings due to excessive play, blown out wheel bearings, worn secondary clutches and smoked primaries, consistent wire harness repair for injectors and tmap sensors, front differential failures left and right all within 800-1500 miles is unacceptable. They have the market covered on performance and apparently in this world that’s all it takes to put up with the poor build quality. Bummer on the new unit being so fragile, I feel your pain man.

    THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME TO MAKE VIDEO. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE COMMENTS AND RESPONSES. was looking at this machine , the talon and X3. Since have found out that X3 guys complain about bending the suspension and how u need aftermarket stuff. Now this with the XP. Still doing research on all. Guess ill stick with my 2016 900S a lil longer. Solid overall machine. Honestly just wanted a better suspension.......

    As a polaris tech I have always strongly advised against the brand for anyone that doesnt just have money to burn, the initial performance and user friendliness of the machines draws people to them but after even 20 hours on most of their machines the quality starts to show, all I can say is polaris is making a ton of money on the margins they have on parts and the machines themselves. Lol

      @@offroadfunz6094 Sorry, I'm not buying it. 3 mph is a brisk walking speed; IF you rolled it at walking speed (doubtful), it would not have done that much damage. As far as parts availability, yes it's maddening, but it's very common with a new model; it takes time for the parts supply chain to materialize. Greed? I don't know about that, but your point is well taken. The video is good in that it points out not only the parts availability (or lack thereof), but also the ridiculous pricing. But hey, that's no different than many vehicles on the market today. But 3 mph? Nope.

      Off road fun Z my “3 mph” rollover caused a 1 in crack in my finder flare. my other significantly faster rollover and slide probably going 17-20 mph ripped the rear fender off. still don’t understand how a “3 mph” rollover bent both radiators, destroyed all plastics on that side and bent frame.. very hard to believe

    I had the same thing happen with my RS1. My wife put it on it's side on memorial day 2019. I was told the frame was on back order and they (polaris dealer I purchased from) submitted a VDO (vehicle down order) a few days later I heard back from the dealership, there are no frames available they are on backorder, but we expect to have 1 for you by September 25 2019. Not sure when it actually came in but I picked my machine up October 25th.
    It's out of your hands now, all you can do is wait. It sucks but it is what it is. If they are replacing the roll cage which they should. You might consider upgrading it since they are paying to replace it anyway. My .02 pennies. Hope it all works out! Sucks not knowing when it will be ready for action again. Good luck!

    So did the actual 2inch frame bend? Or just the door? I just got mine today and i was pissed at the assembly of it. My buddy and I had to take a lot of the plastic off and reassemble it. The plastic in a lot of areas had gaps and you could tell that’s not where it was supposed to be. For some reason it died while we were riding it no clue why. Who should I email? Also, how did you wire your light bar up? Did you run the wires inside the frame?

    • @offroadfunz6094
      @offroadfunz6094  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the frame bent and I’m in northern Ohio it landed in soft dirt just imagine what would happen out west in some rocky terrain the plastics on this machine are junk all of the mounting tabs snapped right off and the white pieces are 400$ each I’ve been a loyal Polaris customer for over 20 years my faith in the company and their products is gone I will never buy another Polaris you can call the owner connection customer service line but don’t expect much help and yes I ran the wires inside the cage

      Look at the thickness of your frame tubes they make such a big deal about their 2 inch tubes but they’re so thin I don’t care what they’re made of they’re going to bend they claim to be the industry leader ha what a sad joke they used to be not anymore

    3 miles a hour? This is a new production so of course it is going to cost more to get parts but I don't see how a rollover, especially at 3 mph destroyed radiators or the frame. I just see plastic damage. Another question. Why do you roll over so many rzrs? We have had rzrs all the way back to the 800 and then 900, 1000xp, 1000xp turbo dynamix, and now the 2020 Ultimate. We have never rolled one ever. Just turn into your insurance company and get it paid for and get something else. Of course you can't get parts when it is a new model and still in production and high demand. We love ours by the way. Much beefier suspension and a great ride so far.

Seems like a lot of “cost averaging” of this new machine, for the price it should have nicer fit and finish, just looks kind of cheap for being “brand new wiz bang”. My buddy at a dealer says Polaris currently does not have axles in stock for these!

I have over 6,500 miles and still runs good. Quality has gone down hill ever since then. Keeping my 2008 RZR 800. As of Nov 2019 I still have the original belt on it and it still looks good. I had similar issues with Polaris help phone, my 2015 sportsman 1000xp kept catching stuff on fire, debris collecting on the muffler caught fire numerous times, the fenders caught fire from the muffler, then the front differential input bearing plate exploded, then voltage regulator catches fire, then 3 more after the first voltage regulator caught fire, so most I've seen outta Polaris is a heat sheild update kit, that's the only thing Polaris has done with all my bikes issues, oh wait, it also spits out brake pads,, ya that's safe right. Polaris has the right price, awesome machines with all the bling and fancy features you could ever ask for... BUT.... they dont build quality products and they DONT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY BUILD. If you get hurt they're only concern is if there's gonna be a lawsuit. I bought the 2019 Turbo S4. Thankfully, I haven't noticed any of the power drop in low gear that you described. I've tried to be as careful as possible with it while still pushing it to the limit and having some fun. Haven't rolled it, yet.. but came damned close on a desert dirt road while taking a turn too fast and not applying power. I hope to never go through what happened to you. And I hope my model doesn't have the engineering issues that the new one apparently has. I live in California - here we have a ton of BS emissions regulations. Off road vehicles are registered with a "green sticker" or a "red sticker". Green, you can ride anywhere all year. Red, there are restrictions. ATVs have all been green stickered, until.. 2020. Now, all new ATVs are red stickered. I bought at the right time, and would never have bought the 2020 RZR just for the emissions. Plus I prefer a 4 seater. Wishing you good luck - your video has been very helpful! Sorry for what you're going through though..

I bet if Polaris would have known this from the start they might have overnighted the parts from the assembly line to avoid all the bad publicity. Truly shows what a dirt bag company they are.

      Jp 1990 they really have no regard for customer satisfaction if they did they would never release the product to the public with absolutely no product support available no replacement parts at all finally after 6 weeks the parts are starting to arrive after about 20 phone calls to polaris the self proclaimed industry leader should be better than that it’s not like they don’t have the capacity to have replacement parts available at product release they leave their customers hanging by choice very poor business practices

      Daniel Garcia
      True, that is the game to owning a toy. But, these are $$25,000+ “toys”!!
      They are supposedly built to withstand the riggers of the off road and in some degree they are. Sadly, in many ways they aren’t!
      They should last at least the lousy 6 month warranty period. These aren’t exactly toys anymore. They are 2,000 pound, 100-200 horsepower, $$20-30,000
      Offroad vehicles!!
      Polaris, and some other manufacturers, are cutting costs by using inferior parts, metals, and plastics.
      Many of the parts are made cheaply in China and Mexico. For the parts in these machines, they are overpriced!
      Now if I could buy a machine and it held together for 6 months to a year, then maybe the price would be better in range.
      Here is a great example;
      Why is it when a part wears out or breaks in a short period of time, and you replace it with an aftermarket part made by a company much smaller than Polaris, that part lasts 3-10 times longer than the OEM part??
      These large companies like Polaris use us as their R&D department.

    11K In damages!!! I just got rod knock in my 2013 XP900 and a complete engine rebuild isn't even half of that. We are looking to buy a second RZR and when the Pro came out I loved it! Then I test drove one in glamis and hated the way it sat. Poor vision compared to the older models and if the frames are as awful as this seems then 2019 Turbo here I come lol

      No way he was doing 3mph I'm a firm believer don't buy anything 1st year either there's always bugs with shit i totally could get with the 3mph thing until there's radiator damage instantly calling bullshit seeing that if it was that slow amd he landed on top how the fuck did he damage radiators he's not telling ya something honest my ass

      @cjmi52 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I am going to assume he was exaggerating how slow he was going to make a point. I have a Polaris Pro XP and I don’t think you can make it go 3mph. So I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he really meant he was going ‘slow’ and that happened.

      Joshua Elias I wish it was bull but it’s not I was surprised at all the plastic damage and dismayed at the frame damage but seeing the radiators were destroyed after such a minor roll removed any remaining doubts that this machine is an off road capable unit it is a very fragile delicate flower
