So one coat then light sand all over then another coat sand again then another coat and wax? I thought with chalk paint we didn’t have to sand ?

You only need to sand if you want an ultra smooth finish like this tutorial is showing. This finish is great for those that want a sleek design for their modern interiors. Most of our other tutorials do not involve sanding to create a bit of texture, like the basic finish and textured finish.

Would this paint work well in a paint sprayer?

Yes, you can use it in a sprayer. Jolie Paint is a water based paint, so when we use it in a sprayer, we typically water it down a touch. We usually go with 85% Paint to 15% water

    dont u use a primer...im realy surprised

Nope no need to prime in most cases! Jolie Paint has great adhesion so no sanding or priming is required on most pieces. There are a few rare cases that extra prep may be needed, and you can read about those on our FAQ page on our website www.joliehome.com
