  • ER Doctor Jordan Wagner is back with real doctor reacts to Scrubs My Lunch season 5 episode 20 medical drama review. Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician Scrubs reaction / real doctor reacts to Scrubs best moments, Scrubs TV show cast, illnesses, and injuries. Real doctor watches Scrubs series and best of Scrubs funny moments and tells us what is accurate and what is not in this Scrubs My Lunch reaction and Scrubs review.
    Scrubs ([scrubs]) is an American medical comedy-drama television series created by Bill Lawrence that aired on NBC and ABC. The series follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart Hospital, which is a teaching hospital. The title is a play on surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because, at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters are medical interns. So just how accurate is Scrubs? Today Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician from Experts React on Gamology will be watching and reacting to Scrubs My Lunch full episode season 5 episode 20 for the first time. A real doctor will break down the medical accuracy of Scrubs and will be comparing it to his real life experience as a doctor. With humor from Dr. Cox there is no shortage of funny medical memes and medical satire. Do you watch Scrubs full episodes? If you want Dr. Jordan Wagner to continue making this doctor reaction series please give this Scrubs TV show reaction a like and leave a comment on which TV show you'd like for him to review next.
    A new group of medical students arrives to learn the ropes at Sacred Heart Hospital, where J.D. (Zach Braff), Christopher Turk (Donald Faison), Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins), and acerbic Perry Cox (John C. McGinley) are their instructors. J.D. continues to romance Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) as he imparts wisdom to a new class, which includes Lucy Bennette (Kerry Bishé), Drew Suffin (Michael Mosley), Cole Aaronson (Dave Franco) and Maya (Nicky Whelan).
    JD asks Dr Cox for lunch but runs into annoying former patient Jill Tracy, who unexpectedly teaches him something about responsibility. Elsewhere, Elliot and Carla discover that Todd's been lying about all his hospital 'conquests'.

      Was the ending too real for you?? I noticed you didn't cover the most dramatic part of the episode. As hard as the situation is I still think it's fantastic writing that made the show feel more realistic than the other hospital related shows. It was excellent how the show could have comedy one minute then turn on a dime the next. It also had some nuance to it which is now missing in a lot of modern shows. I think Hollywood took over a lot of TV and that's why the production quality maybe a bit higher but the writing quality has dropped. More and more shows are relying on bad Hollywood writing troupes. Star Trek comes to mind.

      I am 20 , when I masterbate I release semen in 1 to 1:30 min and I never had a sex in my life . So my question is if when I having sex will i release semen in 1 to 1:30 minutes ???
      Is this a premature ejaculation when releasing semen on masterbating in 1 min ???

      @@ironicugandan5826 no the song is not about breaking up. It's an intervention on a person about to do the same thing a person did and succeeded in doing before.
      Basically the prey to God he hears you prey to God he hears you is a double entendre. You pray to God for hears you about this person. Then you pray to God that the person hears you personally.
      The singer worked in suicide prevention and from his own words he had saved someone BECUASE he wasn't able to save someone before. That's why he says I would have stayed up all night had he have known how to save a life. Meaning he failed before and he is trying to save this person's life.

    I'm a bit shocked that you didn't show the final portion of the episode, in which the Kidney patient also dies due to the infected organ, and Dr. Cox delivers a whammy of a line.
    "He wasn't about to die, was he, Newbie? Could have waited another month for a kidney."
    J.D. then reminds him of some advice he'd given, namely that the moment you start blaming yourself for someone else's death (in J.D.'s case, the patient he'd thought had committed suicide and that he'd failed to help), there's no coming back. Dr. Cox just quietly agrees and leaves the hospital mid-shift.

    Sadly, this episode is loosely based on a real incident in Texas in 2004, when a man died from haemorrhage, and his liver and kidneys were donated to three other patients - all three died soon after, and all three as well as the donor showed signs of rabies. Really makes it more tragic to know something similar really did happen.

    Moments like these are just scattered all over the show, mixed in with all the comedy. None of that "oh we discovered this unknown disease, here's the cure that we found somewhere". The one thing I must say never occurred to me before that seems exceptionally rare about this case is that 3 patients already in the hospital all have matching HLA types for organ receipt (although I suppose that it may not be as important for the heart valve that there's a perfect match, but I don't know for sure). Just realized that may honestly be almost as rare as the rabies itself lol

    I really like these episodes. The magic of Scrubs is that, yes it is a medical drama/comedy, but it is also relatable to anyone that has ever been part of any closely knit workforce. Yeah we look at death and all these horribly depressing parts of being in the medical field. But there's also the woes of eating lunch with your disliked coworker, dealing with 'clients' you'd rather not.. Scrubs has a little bit for everyone to reflect on.

  • @beautybard
    @beautybard 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    My ex back when I was a teen passed away and his family donated all his available organs. He had Wolf-Parkinsons White Syndrome and ended up in a coma and braindead 3 days later. So his heart was off the table but they were able to tell us that one of his kidneys saved a kid and that the rest of his organs were in great shape and gonna do a lot good for a lot of people. So at least there was that.

    It's been a long time since I saw this episode of Scrubs, this was on TV here in Sweden when I was in my early early teens. I remember just thinking that the episode was a bit drab due to the subject matter. But well my great granddad passed away 4 days after christmas from a brain hemmorrage and I actually went cross country to be there with my mother and great grandmother when he passed on. It's a very weird feeling seeing a loved one just lying in a hospital bed non responsive and just hours away from passing on. I broke super hard when he did pass away. For a lot of my youth I really wanted to work in the medical field and I'm still interested in becoming a nurse. But after that experience I did start to second guess it because I dont think id be able to handle being around people dying even if they have no relation to me, But I think that maybe the knowledge that you can help save someones life or atleast make it more comfortable in the last hours might win over that way of thinking. I have so much respect for the people that can do this kind of stuff day in and out. I feel like somewhere deep inside even if you've worked with this for a long time it probably just never gets easier. Mad respect to everyone in the medical field
