I wonder if he straight up killed and ate her or he romanced her first. When I saw him eating, I thought she would be eating the say way also. This was unexpected.

Im assuming the message in this one was to always keep your guard up. i guess its cause slash looks well mannered and inviting but his face is his "dont judge a book by its cover" trait, once Sarah realized that he feels (or at least seems like he feels) the same way she does she lowers her guard and doesn't ask questions. You can even see how slash complements her by saying the blank complement "you're beautiful" when in reality someone that struggles the same as her would be reluctant to say things about looks. It seems like a random or spontaneous ending but i mean its pretty thoughtful.
This reminds me of the fact that Ted Bundy, one of the most well known serial killers of all time, would lure in his victims by pretending to have some sort of injury such as a limp, and ask nearby women for help when getting into his vehicle. That’s when he would strike. Don’t just a book by its cover, but also, remember that even if a man is kind and charming, that does not mean he is not a threat to you. Stay safe ya’ll.

I've read some comments here that I generally agree with, like saying that not every person that evokes empathy is a good person, and that it's easier to fall for those who look like us (in many ways). I would add to that an idea I've been thinking about for a long time, which is a sort of self-disenfranchisement. It appears that he only kills those who liked him, and leaving those who dislike him or are judgemental. Reminds me of those who are angry at society for whatever reason who end up destroying or mass-killing and hurting those sympathetic to them in the process.

Well he is nice to them. He seem to be a good listener and respect them. And I had to go through about hundred "no's" to get that one "yes". Maybe if I ate her or something things would've turned out better. She already looked like hamburger helper anyway maybe tasted like it too, who knows.

Here's the great thing about this: It's not clear what the writer was "saying." There are a lot of lessons and interesting takeaways and they are all valid. This is because the author put something thoughtful and true up on the screen and left us to think about it.
Notice how the other name tags had the names of the other women on them. Jennifer and Stephanie were one of the people at the speed dating place, meaning he ate all of them...

I just feel bad for that poor woman. Sarah probably felt so excited that she'd finally been able to connect with someone who suffered the same judgement from stranger just because of how they looked...and then she got eaten.
While I like the film and all, it doesn’t make sense that Slash’s dates would continue to wear the name tags at his house. By then, they would have went home and got ready some more, then taken off the name tags and drove over to Slash’s place to get eaten. I get that it’s to produce an effect, but still lol
What I also took from this is how it’s ok to “trust your gut” sometimes. Yes the women in the beginning were rude and shallow but… people tend to feel when someone is “off” even if we can’t quite put our finger on it. It’s partly them being shallow and partly his looks being the only thing that they could attach the “strange” vibes they were getting from him to.
There is literally nothing "shallow" about wanting to date someone you have a sexual attraction to in fact that's normal why can't someone be both emotionally and sexually attracted to someone seems so odd people act like you have to choose either or

I've read some comments here that I generally agree with, like saying that not every person that evokes empathy is a good person, and that it's easier to fall for those who look like us (in many ways).
I would add to that an idea I've been thinking about for a long time, which is a sort of self-disenfranchisement. It appears that he only kills those who liked him, and leaving those who dislike him or are judgemental. Reminds me of those who are angry at society for whatever reason who end up destroying or mass-killing and hurting those sympathetic to them in the process.
I thought it was gonna be a twisted and sweet kind of ending with both of them together but it was just twisted. good film though

And I had to go through about hundred "no's" to get that one "yes". Maybe if I ate her or something things would've turned out better. She already looked like hamburger helper anyway maybe tasted like it too, who knows.

Here's the great thing about this: It's not clear what the writer was "saying." There are a lot of lessons and interesting takeaways and they are all valid. This is because the author put something thoughtful and true up on the screen and left us to think about it.
Notice how the other name tags had the names of the other women on them. Jennifer and Stephanie were one of the people at the speed dating place, meaning he ate all of them...
That's a good catch -- but kind of unintended. We didn't have enough name tags, so we had to re-use some of them for that ending bit.

What I also took from this is how it’s ok to “trust your gut” sometimes. Yes the women in the beginning were rude and shallow but… people tend to feel when someone is “off” even if we can’t quite put our finger on it. It’s partly them being shallow and partly his looks being the only thing that they could attach the “strange” vibes they were getting from him to.
