Thanks for testing Ocarina of Time for me. I love that game so much, for the hugely positive influence it has on me as a kid. If I had known back then that one day I was going to be able to play it on what is basically a futuristic game boy, I would have imploded with joy.
@@jalene150 Agreed. It was exceptional. I especially appreciate the higher frame rate of that one. But having the original graphics leaves more for the imagination to fill in, which for me, makes it more immersive.
That is the nicest looking Anbernic device yet. Is the screen resolution not that good? its 640x480, I know its a small screen but does it look nice and sharp, or should I spring for the RG406 that costs way more?
Welcome back! Missed the stream because I was on the road, but I'll try to catch the next one. I'm thinking at this point there's just not much left to say about these H700 devices. Now that Retroid has thrown down the gauntlet with a new presumably powerful 4:3 device with an OLED, what's Anbernic's answer going to be?
Thanks! Yes, they have been incrementally increasing the quality of these H700 devices and it’s becoming harder to spot any major flaws. I’m guessing the next generation “6” is what Anbernic is working on.
Would we class this as the current "best in class" for 4:3 content such as PS1? Im playing through final fantasy 7 and 9 on my rg35xxsp but I would like a bigger display and an analog stick I find my rg35xxsp to be not great either unfortunately. Quite a bit of backlight bleed and it just seems quite washed out... Better with some shader tweaks but....
Yes, it’s hard to beat the horizontal and vertical RG40XX models for 4:3 games prior to PS1 at this price point. The Retroid Pocket 2S or RG Cube would be better but much more expensive.
@@forthenext thanks for your response. Good to know. I think I might sell my rg35xxsp and Powkiddy v10 and consolidate to the rg40xx v for the bigger screen and the analog stick
Opened up the video with the Tekken 2 intro, Legend.
Enjoyable stream, thanks very much for doing it!

Don’t forget about ocarina of time on the 3ds. Super underrated port

The 4” 640x480 screen is actually quite good. It gets bright and I think the colours are reasonably accurate.
can you play the pre loaded games straight out the box? i see a lot of people on reddit saying not to and to find your own roms

Aw man I couldn't join the stream today, wasn't home. Welcome back though!
FTN is the best! I loved the stream :)

hello,i want to know if i can flash the 64gb sd who comes with the console on an 256gb,is it possible?¿
I got mine today and all games video skips every 2secs.. its annoying.. this is on stock fw out of the box
i just wanna play lsd dream emulator does this have it? im not good with tech stuff 😢
Inconsistent Dreamcast frame rates kind of reduce the appeal of this otherwise nice device.
