Really like your videos a lot more now that you show your face. Know thats been a thing a while now. But your personality is very close to RGC and reviews come off a lot better when its not just talking hands.
Great video, Kim! I just ordered it before their sale ended for $61usd and I'm excited! I already got the 351V Woodgrain and I LOVE it. The only big downside for me with this is the analog stick but there's talk of a fix in the works like for the H version. I'm excited to put some custom buttons on the white and turn it into a mini Dreamcast handheld. ^_^
I don't understand the complain about too many anbernic devices. True they release them fast but they are all in different forms, targeting different users. Also anbernic only makes devices, they dont make games so if they don't release a new one, they literally don't make money. We should all be happy we are getting spoiled. I remember in the early 2000's they was like 1 or 2 emulation devices available. Sucked if you wanted options. Great video by the way!

Great review! Finally a bigger vertical with 4" display. I put my Miyoo Mini+ on sale and ordered the 40XXV since I find the Miyoo uncomfortable (too small) and its far away from "premium" as well. I own the 35XXH, so I know what to expect regarding built quality & OS, haha. Even though I wont use the XXVs joystick often I dont understand why they put such s bad one inside (again). But we all know, they will release a XXV 2.0 in two months :D
I bought the 40XXV last week. I have been playing it and it is great. Playing all of my playstation games and super nintendo games. Wish N64 performed better with controls. I did end up installing MUOS though, so it might be an OS issue.
I've been telling Stubbs that by the end of the year, they'll announce the 55XX-DS that's a dual 5-inch screen capable of running NDS with an H900 chipset
Question. This device works on a linux distro and is SD card dependent for the OS. With wifi and bluetooth, have you tried inserting a linux OS? Curious what the results would be.
I caved and finally got this. Thought the Odin 2 would be my end all device but I don't like playing 8 and 16 bit games on it. Too bulky for them for me. I'm enjoying it but being used to Android, it's talking some getting used to it being Linux. Might also pick up the RP mini for the oled display.

It looks pretty cool but I've been off the emulation handhelds since a new one comes out every other week. LOL - my most recent is a Retroid Pocket 2+. Since then I modded all my 3DS's and DSi as well as a Vita and PSP and have played the heck out of those....and a few weeks back I picked up the Funny Playing FPGBC kit to build myself a GB color hw clone and I absolutely love it and I've realised that there really were a lot of great GB and GBC games. Mostly playing Pokemon GBC ROM hacks right now.
If anyone could help me out with a link to a bigger battery for this thing please let me know. Really feels like this thing dies under 2 hours of PS1 gaming at full brightness. Love everything else except the stock OS. But this battery. Oofda.

I hope they start to focus on more powerful handhelds. They have given us just about every form factor with this chip

You know what they'll put on the next version. Hall sticks, a brighter screen and dmg colorway. Also a slightly faster chip with usb c tv out
