Just bought this before watching this vid so this looked good.
been using this stuff for years , great glue .
the brush needs to come to a point, like the tamiya version, that would be a big plus in sales
one of the best smells in modeling
I love these informative videos simple but very helpful to a novice like myself. Ty Humbrol
I'll definitely have give this a go, I've been using precision poly for years
Can be removed if not fully dry by re-dissolving with more Liquid Poly or Poly Cement. Permanent once dry.
I have to agree about the brush. I chopped mine down so it was more like the tamiya brush
Now that's a good idea.
Just bought it, can't wait to use it!
Brilliant....!
I've got the tornado fighter jet I used. Humbrol love it lol
Humbrol is really good I love it :)
Wondering how this stuff compares to Plastructs "Plastic Weld" and if it even comes close to Liquid Poly's welding-capacity for various-plastics?
Can I have health damaging side effects just by getting a headache from the vapour smell?
Make sure you have good ventilation in your workspace, this will help to minimise the side effects from breathing in the poly cement vapour or wear a mask.
what model is shown here?
The Airfix 1/48 HMT-400 Supacat Jackal of the Operation Herrick Series of Airfix
Does this contain di chloro methane?
Can I mix it with water?
Did Humbrol copy Tamiya or did Tamiya copy Humbrol?
I think mr hobby was the first to have a plastic cement with a brush inside. Anyways most plastic glues contains butylacetate as a solvent or the faster evaporating butanon and ethylacetate. So most of the polycements on the market is the wery same substances.
Unfortunately it’s a underrated product but it’s good
What do you use to clean the paintbrush after using for gluing ?
I know this is long time ago but I think you should just use a wery cheap brush, then you can clean them in acetone or similrar solvents.
it evaporates ,so you don't have to clean he brush.
Tamiya Extra Thin is far superior.
Tamiya fan boy. 😄
Humbrol fan boy
I think its the same glue probably containts the same mix of acetone and butylacetate. Or as most plastic glues only butylacetate (the banana smelling solvent)
@@statoilbensin2190 Hi, do you maybe know if the viscosity of liquid poly is that of a standard liquid glue (like the Tamiya white/orange cap or Revell contacta liquid) or if it's more like the extra thin variants (Tamiya green cap, Mr cement extra thin or Ammo extra thin)?
My favorite plastic glue,
the brush on this is terrible, you get the stuff everywhere
Was good glue. Brush sucks.
It may be good in theory but it's too destructive for a beginner
Time Waster Digital why?
L for Loser you can easily flood the surface, liquid poly is very thick and you can make blobs on parts you glue
"Melt"? No, the word you're looking for is dissolve.
I like your cat
