As the creator of the Fish Hook, I'm very happy to hear that it's your favorite item in the game :D I do like it a lot too, it fits perfectly with the curse mechanic and always gives you interesting decisions to make.
I have tested it and when you combine weapons the game prioritise the curse ones, same when you buy a weapon from the shop and have all the weapon slots full, it will upgrade the curse one. Great video.

Black Flag on creature is awesome. You know what's awesomer? Cursed black flag. +2 material per cursed enemy and nearly 50% chance for cursed enemies, that's almost like 3 Hunting Trophies.
The "oh no he's hot" always get me. Reto monster f**ker man And damn, this character has so much potential for reruns! You can get some crazy builds with it
I tried this character with the etherial weapon that adds HP and it was good. Cursed weapons gives HP way faster. Gotta have the sharp bullet fast though.
Chance to make items in shop cursed and enemies cursed. Items in shops have better stats but give more cursed. Enemies that are cursed deal more damage, move faster, and have more health. Basically, it is a press your luck for better rewards

Low range with melee can be interesting because it also means the animation will be very short

I hope the Violence Aesthetics mod gets updated to work with the new DLC, I think Wholesaler could be really fun with buying 12 of a cursed item!
