Loved seeing this after many, many years - I grew up riding my bike and walking those trails, as they were practically in my backyard. If you keep going east you can continue down the hill to a series of wonderful swimming holes along Kangaroo creek. You can then head back towards Karloo Pools (a bit too popular these days), or onto Audley. You captured it all beautifully, as always!

I think even I can do a 3.1km loop :) Totally jealous of the warratah. I just realised I've never seen one in the wild, only in flower shops! I love the variety of wildflowers in that sandy soil. Great time of year to be there.
I only have m43 glass so only used those I guess. Not all native. Some fast cheap chinese primes are fun like the Kamlan 50mm f1.1. Thank you so much for watching.

How good are waratahs! Never seen so many clustered in such a small area. Great vid
