    ▷ About Paul:
Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

real skaters love watching the misses. i hate high light reels. the misses are what makes it impressive because you see the sweat equity. i spent an entire summer trying to 360 flip a gap... broke like 3 boards with zero income...finally landed it(waaaay before cell phone camera's). greatest feeling ever.

@ much as I love Andrews skating think P-Rod edge's it in comparison not by alot but hes got some tech shit in his bag that AR ain't got
Not to mention he's got Few more style points if there even is a category which in the grand scheme of things dont really matter but also will say the fact that AR is is six years older and still skating at the level he's skating also cant be overlooked when comparing two monsters like them I guess lil things count both fkn legends regardless this is just my opinion

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@calebsuterone.teotheevilon2092 I was only talking about the fact that Reynolds make a lot of takes before choosing the "good one", there is a video showing it, he is really known for this.

Paul's crouch stance when concentrating before popping the trick out reminds me of Dustin Dollin's a little bit. Say for instance, when Dollin does that kickflip noseslide to fakie in his Baker 3 part and those two hot chicks are in the background at the end of the clip blushing cause they know they made the shot. In this video, at 4:25, that concentrated crouch stance totally reminds me of Dollin. It doesn't matter, just saying.
It's cool how he will land a trick, and, to the common skater, just landing a make is relief and good enough, but, he goes back. He doesn't just land the trick. He develops his skills on the spot and owns it upon other variations.

Holy moly, it's nice to see skater like Prod who does not stay down, and making only same old tricks. It so amazing hes even changing his style and tricks, and notvtaking it easy on himself. You can just see like his still 12 trying hard and with passion learn that 360 flipvor whatever. So nice!
Ps. I'm skater since 2000, when i was 10, Yeah Right favourite [sv] forever!
