Dominus Mammon idk man. Considering owning both consoles. I just like the ps4 rechargeable controllers more. I already spent over 30 dollars for batteries just to play with a controller I already payed 60 dollars for

@@Rooster832 I personally would rather charge my controller then play and switch controllers if my battery dies but usually my battery doesnt die while I'm playing so I don't really have a problem but if u like to play all day and all night then I could kinda see why you would want batteries
The DS4 battery aren’t bad! I game for hours. Usually 5-6 hours. Is a simple fix, ready? Put the light bar brightness down!!!!!! Saying the battery sucks is just a plain lie.
I have two controllers, if one is getting low, I just switch controllers n recharged the other... the old way is to plug in usb cable n charge while playing... and your right on with the battery life of 5 to 6 hours...
I agree ... its even charging faster than its draining the power .... so even if both of your controllers were low you can still change like 3 times between them and u will get a full charged controller
Thes ppl probably don't charge their ds4's after a gaming session then when they start a new session it dies and then they complain. I have a habit of charging my controllers after every session
I remember the ps3 dont need to be charged everyday. Just every other day. The switch controller dont need to be charged in a week with 3-4 hours per day game time. The DS4 is nevermind.
having a built in battery is not a huge win for sony, if my controller dies i don’t want to be wired for x amount of time, i like the option to have an extra SEPARATE rechargeable pack sitting on the charger that i can swap out and NEVER be tied to a charger. i’m sorry but the huge winner is CHOICE.
I like the battery choice on the Xbox controller because one, it gives you choice, two whenever your built-in battery goes bad you have to buy a new controller. But I do think it would be nice to have it come with a rechargeable battery.
ps vita having the best dpad ever, its very smart of sony to put the vita dpad on the ps5, that thing is a work of art, they made 4 button design but is connected underneath like a cross dpad. Magnific !!!
So what you’re actually saying, when reading between the lines (by lines I mean the amount of times that built in battery packs were mentioned) is that the Xbox controller is better in every way except something g that cones down to personal preference... battery packs! I have used both Xbox and PlayStation controllers and in my opinion... With PlayStation, you run low mid game so you either plug the controller in and have a lead trailing across the room or purchase a second controller that you switch to whilst the 1st one is charging! With Xbox, you buy 4 rechargeable batteries and a AA charger. When your batteries run low mid game, you just switch them out and carry on as you were while the 1st set charges In my opinion Xbox wins here because it’s simpler and cheaper (PS controller vs 4 x AA batteries and a charger) I guess if you play on a smaller tv/monitor at a desk then plugging in your controller wouldn’t be an issue (but then why not just have a wired controller). If, like me you play on a larger tv in your lounge, a lead trailing across the room is just asking for trouble Also, As the batteries start to weaken over time, it’s a much cheaper option to replace them on Xbox Just my opinion
I know batteries aren’t even that much of a hassle they warn you and they last pretty long it takes me almost 6 months to us a 24 pack of batteries only on my Xbox but I would only get to play like 16ish hours a week but still it could last long

@Gus Martinez
But it is worse than it was Day one
U can buy aa bateries that u can recharg and use them as long as u want plus u can swap them when one pack is dead
@@purplesuicide2879 im happy u understand

not only does xbox give you an option, but its a better long-term solution than rechargables
@Gus Martinez wtf? There are rechargeable aa batteries, my xbox controller lasts 3 days but my ps4 controller lasts 5 hours , aa batteries are so much better

What is this theory that the ps4 controller’s battery is bad honestly my controller can last a whole day without charging and I play cod from 10 am to 11pm or longer
ps4 it s not ps5
yeah exactly he said the ps4 had bad battery life, on full charge on my controller the minimum would probably be 5 hours. Not bad for a device charged with micro usb

When you forgot to charge the battery and have to wait for it to charge when you can just change the aa battery nobody likes waiting when you can easily switch battery . I like how you said they have way more features when it's just a design and the XBOX one x controller is pretty good
Plug and play donut
@@tristman8413 what happens when you break the plug in the controller because you rage quite nice try
@Cleetus Luckas did I say they didn't exist no I didn't all I said was aa battery are better because they last longer and there more efishiont and also lithium batteries actually can start to go bad after a couple of years they soon become a battery that doesn't store all the energy for ex your phone battery if you had it for a while you will realize that it would die at 3 percent because the battery is no good that what happened to many ps players and you cant say no my friend had 4 controllers because 2 of them stop working and my one controller still works so no your wrong buddy ones again
All the ps owners that I have met have at least 3 to 4 controllers and half of them work XBOX players have 2 to 4 because there multiplayer and all of them work so no form my experience it seems clear as day that XBOX is better even in perfomance

Batteries are good because if ur charger is broken or lost u can use batteries and if you want to you can get a rechargable battery pack. Plus batteries don't get worse over time (unlike built in rechargable batteries) and can last for 4 weeks sometimes. It's just nice to have the choice because it comes in useful sometimes.

Which Controller's Better? PS5 or XBOX Series X Controller?
Depend on Consumer Desire
Bro, why you want a circular d-pad!? The point of a d-pad is to be more precise!! Why would you want a d-pad in a circle!? Way easier to be more precise when you almost never accidentally go diagonal. 🤦♂️
It is for fighting game combos.... You must me new to gaming.
It's to make rotation easier between d-pad buttons. You must not be very good when it comes to this stuff.
you don’t play fighting games? Casual lol
So you can have 4 more buttons? Git gud at games kid?
The only reason is "fighting games". If y'all really want 4 more buttons, just buy an accessory for your d-pad.
True gamers don't care just as long as it controls the game
They should give us a rechargeable instead of making us buy one because they don’t want to give us a built in one.
I'd rather buy a rechargeable battery for a few bucks than buy a whole new controller when the battery gets old
Kevin Guardado what are the chances of a battery getting “old” in a controller lol?
@@jacobesquivel6862 rechargable batteries slowly lose their charge over time. Still, it would be nice if the new Xbox controller included a removable, rechargable battery pack.
@@jacobesquivel6862 it depends on amount of usage and there's always the possibility of getting a battery that is already having issues that may not be noticable until after the warranty is up.

@@torezgermy2 best habit ever ... i have 4 controllers and 2 ps4s i dont have to worry about charging

ps vita having the best dpad ever, its very smart of sony to put the vita dpad on the ps5, that thing is a work of art, they made 4 button design but is connected underneath like a cross dpad. Magnific !!!
Serjohn is Nintendo a joke to you
What did Sony release saying they used the Vita D pad concept for the Dual Sense? Oh, you're assuming that based on a picture, I get it now.
Daniel Booke someone tweeted out saying it looks like a vita touchpad, and one of the PlayStation executives like the tweet could be a sign.
When your batteries run low mid game, you just switch them out and carry on as you were while the 1st set charges
In my opinion Xbox wins here because it’s simpler and cheaper (PS controller vs 4 x AA batteries and a charger)
I guess if you play on a smaller tv/monitor at a desk then plugging in your controller wouldn’t be an issue (but then why not just have a wired controller). If, like me you play on a larger tv in your lounge, a lead trailing across the room is just asking for trouble
Also, As the batteries start to weaken over time, it’s a much cheaper option to replace them on Xbox
Just my opinion
Wow thanks im gonna send that to all the ps4 dickheads calling it the xfridge
Bahahaha i gotta admit thats kinda funny tho
And the AA batteries will actually last pretty damn long
Bruh just take a powerbank and plug it to the PS4 controller problem solved smh
