So magnesium is used as skeleton of the chassis and then carbon fiber wrapped? Most curious on how this chassis would feel in a cold environment. I'm sure it would feel much better in the cold compared to aluminum counter parts.

@@ykv6840 the center section is magnesium while the forend and buttstock are made of carbon fiber.

I have both and I still think the Element is more flexible.

I just ordered on from my rifle builder Affordable long range - I'll be using this bad boy in Turkey and Spain next Dec.
Eagle eye shooting had just got one in for one of his rifles.. I went onto the MDT sight to see how much. I didn't see it listed. Now you have shown it.. maybe it's listed now.. I'm hoping they will have it for the Ruger American rifles. Also hoping I can safe some cash to buy one as I know it's going to be 1K US dollars. It'll be money well spent for a light weight chassis.

You mentioned length of pull. What is, in your opinion, the best way to determine your LoP? I've tried to research and watch videos but there are so many different ways.
Bend your arm to 90 degrees. Measure inside of the elbow to the tip of your trigger finger

That was my biggest concern with the arca rail being built in would be it wearing/delaminating under use. Curious how it holds up long term. Although dont they have a lifetime warranty?

Yes they have a lifetime warranty 😊 They even replaced a guy I knows XRS after it broke in his car after a car accident ❤️
Very nice carbon fiber I heard it also great at withstanding pressure and will not collapse on itself or implode.
