Teardown Tuesday Episode 14: RobertShaw FMDA Flame Safety Valve

  • Jack Kell of the SmartCare technical training group tears down a RobertShaw FMDA flame safety valve commonly used pre-2007 in commercial gas cooking equipment like pizza and convection ovens. This valve was discontinued and made obsolete because it uses mercury in the cap tube and bulb system.
