You ever consider solving some of those WTF mysteries with time travel shenanigans from adventurers trying to achieve immortality? Or a Terry Pratchett timeline crash?
I could've sworn I remembered reading that the Blackmoor explosion was from Blackmoor finally stripmining the Beagle too much and setting off its reactor?
Correction: The Day of Mourning *might* have been caused by the war, nobody knows. Could have been anyone or anything. Maybe it was the dragons, or The Lords of Dust, or the Daelkyr, or something else entirely. Maybe someone got their hands on a Wish spell and wished that the war would end. Nobody knows.
Any thoughts to share about the "Blackmoor Reborn" idea TSR was working on, cancelling it because they cancelled Mystara as a whole? General idea was that the Immortals did recreate Blackmoor in the Hollow World, but kept having trouble with them more or less breaking the rules, so they kicked this civilization out onto the surface world again.
Bruce allegedly doesn't want to talk about it. It's a great idea. Finding out about it inspired my own campaign plot point where explorers of Skothar found the impossible, preserved Blackmoorian lands shrouded in an energy field. This later became the floating parallel dimension called "Returned Blackmoor." This inspired articles on Threshold Magazine.
That said, Blackmoor brought back to the prime material would be hell... especially one where their goodies were taken away. Unless the potent and frozen waste is removed, they'd be exposed to that. Likewise, their environment is a frigid wasteland they wouldn't be accustomed to. So, that's no fun either.
What are the rules of raz-raz? If there are Druids in 5th Edition Mystara, what relationship do any of these Elvish cultures have to the origins of Druidism if any? I guess it isn't techically necessary, humans being naturally prone to wierdness and Immortal patrons not being in short supply, but it seems like an obvious connection.

Just appeared and disappeared without explanation. Well we know why they disappeared. As far as I can tell they were not related to other clans and we're just always there which causes continuity problems

Elves that escaped nuclear fallout by migrating to underground and evolved albino skin and bat ears, theocratic socialist society with ziggurats, soulstones and they worship a god "Rafiel" immortal of radiance who was actually a nuclear physicist in the pre-cataclysm Blackmoor. Shadow Elves are maybe the most awesomely crazy wonder of the Mystara or Known World which full of insanely great pulp-fantasy sci-fi gimmicks.
Turns out the eternal love/hate relationship between elves and dwarves stems from their diametrically opposed opinion on mountains

Sounds like what happened to Qo'Nos Moon Praxis.
Problem is that's a thousand years after the Beagle landed. Timeline doesn't line up
