Dude, so I applaud your efforts, and you’re not wrong, but… that shiny rod is a “rod”. The “piston” (which you seemed to be calling the rod) is in the bottom of the cylinder usually attached to the rod w a bigass nut. Most cylinders have a guide that keeps the rod centered in the gland nut. Sometimes the cylinder leaks because the guide is worn, and the rod isn’t centered, and it either screws up the cylinder wall (if it’s really bad) or it leaks because it’s not centered correctly. The “attachment plate” is called a carriage, and I could keep going, but… LoL Thanks for trying, and for playing lmao
