This is fantastic. Your stick stand is better than the the high dollar ones. This is something that I can do. Thank you for all the time you put into doing this for us. Really enjoy you videos.
Oooh how to make a "bird stand" like perches and stuff. I started watching expecting to see birds standing 😆 took me 8 minutes until I saw the y shaped sticks together 😅 birds standing? What was I even thinking? 😅 nice and thorough instructions
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ! I actually didn’t believe I could ever make something like this without spending more than 100-200 dollars and you just made me make something’s that’s probably even 10 times better ! Thanks a lot !!!
I really like your channel!! Thank you for making this look easy. I like how your budgies are so nice and comfortable with you I hope that I can make my budgie like that.
Your object you used to cut your branches is called “lopping shears”. Love your bird playground. I have a yellow nape Amazon that I’ll be making one for.-Susan
Thank you soo much!❤️ Now I know how to make a diy stand + I know that we need to wash the natural perches and trim the sharp edges before giving them. thanks a lot! ❤️
For getting off sharp edges ill usually trim it then use some sandpaper or one of those nail file things to make it smoother it usually works for me but you have to wash of ALL the dust so your birds don’t inhale it :)
This looks awesome! It's soooo much better than expensive ones and way cheaper. I just want to saw that washing it off with water will not get all the bugs and parasites off. I'm actually making perches and a stand for my birds starting tomorrow! To get parasites off, you need to soak them in water with vinegar for 24 hours then put them in the oven at 200 degrees f for about 2 hours and then to get any deseases off, you need to let it out in the sun for about 5-7 days. It takes a while, but i'm just letting you know because those things could kill birds easily. But I really like it! You did a really good job on it! I love where you put all the sticks.
Wow! Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! I’ve been trying to figure out how to do one because here they cost hundreds of dollars! I really appreciate this and you are such a beautiful girl!
I love the way you were able to put this together to stand on its own without a stand underneath (although I'm sure you'd put something under it to catch any messes). And I like that you don't really have to use tools to out it together. Nice work! BTW, my daughter named her budgie Louie (that's how we spelled it). Unfortunately, Louie ended up being a girl. She now understands the shortened version of her name: Lu-Lu. But, we still call her Louie as well, so she's a girl named Louie. Sounds like the title of a song. Lol
Thank you for sharing this stick stand construction - we got a make and female parakeet for Christmas & I bought them a mini playground at Petco on sale for $14.99. They love the rope on it the best❤️🦅👍🏻👱🏻♀️
I love this! Thank you for making. I was wondering do you clean the stand or branches ever? Ideally I’d like to clean thembecause they will get so dirty from bird droppings but not sure how to clean it?
Hii dar l recommend putting natural purches instead of dawl perches in the cage other than every thing is so cool love your chanel and birds are so cute 😍 💕 💗 💖 ❤ 😊 😍 💕 💗
I really love your wooden stand, it is so cool. Unfortunatelly I can't use the hair ties, bcs my lovebirds will destroy every and each one of them if they see them. I would just be careful with using the bells, the hearts of them can be really dangerous, i've heard some really bad stories that happed to the bird owners.(you can just take the hearts out, but i know that some birds go crazy about the sound, so just be careful pls). You can also use some natural toys, for example planet pleasures, but again, they don't sell them in every country, including mine. Hope you'r doing well. Good luck with birds♥️ (sorry for my english, it is not my mother languege)
I’m not sure if she mentioned it in the video but make sure that your sticks are from a bird safe tree! Certain wood types will poison your bird if they ingest it.
also you have to disinfect them, you can look on some websites and think about bleaching them or baking them in the oven. Make sure they don’t come from and places where pesticides or chemicals are used, go through a walk in a forest or use some branches from trees that aren’t near any houses or where they might be likely to use pesticides. I’ve been doing a bunch of research and I advise you do too to find a solution that suits you. goodluck!
Try something like spinach and make sure you wash it completely, so you don’t infect your bird with a disease. Also make sure other things aren’t killing your birds like fumes and the kitchen
Sorry l just saw this message thank you and l am going to ask the vet after tomorrow thank you so much oh and plss plss make a video being twenty four hours with my birds pls.

Did you check what type of wood and stick it was because some are toxic to birds and it hurts them and you don’t know it also in your cage there is no natural perches there is dowel wood and that is bad for them because they can’t have much exercise on them so please switch that up and know the tree you got your sticks from
Since she is in Australia, I'm pretty sure natural australian trees are safe for budgies because they literally live in them. Unless it's not a native australian tree, there shouldn't really be anything to worry about
Yes, Australian native trees are safe for budgies and we have a lot of wild birds here and it’s conmen sense over here. And I wouldn’t say it’s too necessary to have natural perches in the cage as they have a stand and have access to the stand all the time during the day :)
Most of the stands I c r from $34 to $351. but anyway thanks for the tutorial helped a lot and I found it really easy and me and my bird love it 😍☺️🥺👑🤍✨🦜

Awesome! 👍🏻Only hair tie’s won’t work with my birds, they will destroy it in minutes.
heyy i loved the idea, i made my own, it turned out great just need to get some more toys! i posted a video about making a bird stand
Your very creative what did you use to cut the fat sticks I noticed you used the pruners for thinner sticks. Great job it looks terrific
I’m going to make this with 2x 4s at the bottom to make it sturdier. I’m going to buy colored wood slats & blocks to make some toys for it❤️

You could use sisal rope to tie toys to your stand instead.

Will this bud a problem if my bird don’t chew on branches and is supervised while on the stand?

O some back can be bad not the actual wood

Looks awesome but I think my Eclectus will chew through the zip ties so will have to find something stronger or just replace them when she does 🙂
You’re beautiful 🤩
Omg I love ❤️ it I wish U could help me
Do you make your own sprouts for your birds. If so could you do a video on how to sprout .
No I don’t, but I’ll look into making my own sprouts :)
Tha k you for making this bird playgrounds like this in the UK are like £3000
I know right! It’s insane how expensive they are when you can make them at home.
Who was that man @2:20 😂
Did your bird chew through or try to chew the zip ties? I have a galah, so I'm not sure if zip ties will last.
I made something similar for my budgies and they didn’t care for the ties. If you provide toys for them they should keep them entretained.
You are very beautiful💖
does the sticks have to be bird safe.
This is so lovely but you should really teach frank to fly I suggest elleandthebirds she has an amazing video on it
By us its winter
any branches will be okay?
