This is absolutely an amazing Darth Maul figure by Hot Toys. Both head sculpts are very impressive, especially the one with the angry facial expression. The figure is nicely detailed with a clean paint application. The outfit has some nice stitch work and tailoring that's been done to it. The display base looks great as well. However, because of how the boots are sculpted, constant movement may result in the faux leather material getting damaged over time. Sure, the design gives the boots a more seamless look, but it may pose issues later down the road. With that aside, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!

When I get mine, I’m thinking about getting a secondary 1/6 generic body to kitbash an alternative Maul with the second head and the cloak... it’s too awesome to keep in the Box hehehe hey man, random comment: you had a quite beautiful voice... have you ever worked on radio? 😅 and just one more thing: it’s been a while since your last collection video tour... any plans for a new one? Awesome very detailed review. Just 1 question... do u still hv the figure? If yes, how is the pleather belt doing now? Does it start to deteriorate or usually how long does it start to do so? Im on the fence of getting this figure because of the pleather belt part
When it comes to pleather on these figures they should hold up well as long as you try to avoid keeping them in humid areas and avoiding sunlight of course. As long as they are kept in cool areas and are generally dusted off they should be fine, but if your worried about it flaking you can take a step further and buy something like 303 aerospace protectant and lightly apply some to the pleather areas there are a lot of videos on this topic that can you can find.

You usually mention Alter Ego Comics while reviewing Hot Toys figures. You mean that website that every single hot toy is basically sold out of and they never update it what's in stock? I have always gone there every time you mention it and still they have nothing.
