Do a sudoku puzzle, lie eyes closed listening , do a sodoku. Etc etc. Boudicca lies beside me giving doggie snores. Bella jumps up, gives me a lick and jumps back to her bed, then does the same a few minutes later. As far as possible, when wifeless and daughterless, a perfect evening. What I have learned is that Andra Ariadna does NOT do Nightwish covers. Tuomas Holopainen gets Nightwish to record demo tracks of his work pending the definitive Andra Ariadna recording. Thank you Andra for a perfect evening.
You can really sustain long notes consistently. Your singing seems quite effortless. No need to fear for you, knowing you're going to do just fine. Lots of emotion. Great choise that you decided to sing the gospel vocal parts, male and female in the original song, too, your way. So essential part of the song, would have been a big loss had you left them out, well done. I like this song a lot, beautiful melody, lyrics, big arrangement, emotion! In the comments of the original Nightwish version several people said they want this song to be played in their funeral. I think this was a good song to cover because it is a less known Nightwish song for no good reason. And there is no good quality live version by Nightwish. Greetings from Helsinki!

At the beginning of the year, I was particularly drawn to the original. Looking back, listening to this now and understanding that every word from "The scent of awakening; wild honey and dew" to "Flowers wither, treasures stay hidden until I see the first star of Fall" highlighted a chapter in this year. You embodied every bit of that.

I love Annette. Imaginaerum is, to me, the best Nightwish album. That said, If Annette had been kidnapped by Martians before recording started, I’m sure that Tuomas would have been only too happy for YOU to have recorded the album.
