They create the greatest symphony to ever come out of an engine, unfortunately they're too big/bulky & are very very heavy as well as unstable. Especially at high speeds, they wouldn't be practical. It is one of the reasons why they were discontinued.
@@Mohapi_Tau , not that unstable. I gave a friend a lift round the North Circular, London, England in evening rush hour one time. 1st & 2nd gear filtering, as steady as a 250cc.
That motorbike is like a monster on the street, the owner feels proud to ride it at the conservative speed of an old person, because the riders around him are definitely intimidated by the f1 sound.
It’s any small displacement dohc inline 6 with a ton of valves revving high. 6 into 1 shoves all the frequency’s through one pipe to get that howl. And yeah I have a cbx with a 6-1.
Another video about the sound of the CBX which fails to mention Hondas own stated design goal to simulate the sound of an F4 Phantom turbo jet by incorporating a spinner into the exhaust.
