I have visited this town and it is a very beautiful place with lots of architectural temples in ruins. When you wander around the town you feel as if you are visiting Hampi of 1630s. We should thank the government for allowing the ruins to remain as it is without altering the landscape. Moreover, please take a guide with you when you are visiting the place. He will be able to tell you the history of each and every monument in detail. There are very good guides who can speak in English, Hindi, Kannada and in other foreign languages like Russian, French etc. A must visit place.
