Not having a vacation until you're 45 years old really puts into perspective how privileged I've been. I'm very happy that you're getting to experience new things Shannon!

Photobombing the “influencers” is always fun 😂

I went to Disneyland at age 12 in January 1994 and I'm disabled, so I know exactly what you mean about "I'm an old man, don't wait up for me." I survived it, but I had to sit down a lot and I had blisters all over the soles of my feet. My dad was abusive and didn't really understand my disability and basically told me I was fat and out of shape the entire trip. So the whole visit was a mixed bag. I understand the Monorail Cafe with its giant burritos and miming Disney characters no longer exists, which is a shame. I have good memories of that. I've always had a bad back, so I was limited in terms of the rides I could go on. No rollercoasters or bumper cars. I had rods put in in 1996, so all of that was completely off limits at that point. I take medication that makes me overheat and have since I was a toddler, so going in January was definitely the right decision. As soon as temperatures creep past 20 Celsius, I'm in trouble.

The only time I’ve had an urge to cry at Disneyland is when checking the entrance fees.

So long as people are reasonably respectful, it really shouldn't matter how old they are. I'm glad folks who go, regardless of age, can have a moment that means a great deal to them

If people aren't hurting other people, I don't understand why they're judged. It's ridiculous. Enjoy life people!

My only problem with Disney adults is they make Disney their whole personality, but it’s not exclusive to them but they can be very open with it.

Bit of a odd question but have you seen how AEW wasn’t able to sell out their arena for their ppv with new Japan? It’s amazing that they haven’t been able to do that with all of the wrestlers they have. Also I think they should stop doing the cross promotion thing with these promotions because the outside guys tend to lose almost every match.

It may be an unpopular opinion but having been to Anaheim Disney, Disneyland Paris (Euro Disney) and Disney World, I actually prefer Paris & Anaheim to World as they've always been far less crowded and stressful. The fact you can get on Rise of the Resistance in around 90 minutes in Anaheim is amazing, where as I've never managed thus far in WDW. Also Disney Adults get a pass from me - everyone's got their hobbies / passions so if you like something it's nothing to be ashamed of!

I would have no issue with Disney adults, I being one myself, unless they’re wearing a Ducks or Sharks jersey. And I would not give a hard time to an Oilers fan-they’ve suffered enough.

People watching at Disney is a great way to pass the time in lineups.

Former Disney Cast Member, did both Land and World for the honeymoon and we’re off to World with the kid in about a month.

I gotta tell ya, this is my favorite TEG video. We went to Disney in February 2020, just before everything locked down, and it was wonderful.

  • @Poorlydrawnchicken

Enjoy your trip! looking forward to those videos. Started going to Disney about 10 years ago and made it a regular thing so I guess my wife and I would be considered a Disney adults. Just being there or planning trips helps me clear my mind of whatever crap I'm dealing at the time. As you said, everyone has a different reason for enjoying things.

Watching this video right now from Hong Kong Disneyland. Ridiculously hot, but great prices here. Trying to figure out how to stream NHL final tomorrow from Hong Kong. TH-cam TV doesn’t work here.

That nature show, at least in the US, was "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom". Yes, our family watched it every weekend. 8-)

Im going to sit directly on the fence of the overweight argument. I see both sides, coming from someone who WAS overweight myself:

fun video - have fun on your Anaheim excursion! If you need to get out of the heat, we have monthly meet up for Broomball not to far from the park.

  • @jsullivan5823

I've seen 4 babies cry and 1 engagement at disney lol

I just wonder how long it's going to be before people start getting copyright strikes or takedown notices for filming at Disney and posting online. Other companies such as Cedar Fair & Six Flags (which are merging together) are very protective of their intellectual property.
