As a Singaporean, Im proud of how SIA has one of the most advanced fleets in the world, even though we are such a small country with a population of only 5.5Million. Its amazing that SIA's fleet size is only 150 aircraft, but it is the largest operator of the a350
I love it. Singapore Airlines is one of the few international airlines that i really want to try on because i've never flown on this airline before. It was reveal that the final SIA Airbus A330 was retired and leave Singapore for Teruel in October 15 2021, few days after 2 Singapore A380s along with 1 retired 777-200 were scrap locally at Changi Exhibition Centre. Yes indeed Singapore Airlines has 140 aircraft + 7 freighters at the moment

I was mesmerized by the comfort and service provided by Singapore Airlines. They have an advanced and well-maintained fleet of comm. planes that keep them from suffering like the other airlines to replace some of their fleets. I rate Singapore Airlines as the best of my choice.
I love SIA I’ve been lucky enough to fly with them on several times, on a lot of their fleet. The B772, B773, B787-10 A330, A350 and A380. I like that they keep their fleet relatively young. Of course their in flight service is just superb
I’ve flown Singapore many times, great airline and great choice of aircrafts! I’ve flown on there 747-400, 777-300, A330-300 and my first time on the A380 which was an amazing experience, loved flying on that beast
Props to the A359 and SIA. I haven’t flown sia for over 13 years since they stopped flying to Vancouver. Just recently flew sia on the A359 in business class and I can say it’s a very smooth and a quiet plane, sometimes you wonder if it’s in the air. And sia crew service is top notch. Always willing and ready to serve.
I remember SIA did fly to Vancouver with a stopover in Beijing in 2015, or maybe they had a codeshare agreement with Air Canada instead. Now I remember they have resumed flights to Vancouver with a stopover in Seattle

I remember a while back a Singapore Airlines flight endured a period of severe turbulence during the meal service. All I remember is that the food looked really good, even dripping down from the ceiling/overhead bins…
I do love them, and they are still among the best in Business Class, but letting themselves down on a few issues. Also, the position of the controls on the newest seat means you accidentally touch the buttons. One of the flight attendants was telling me they have a lot of issues with passengesr touching the call button as well, apparently it is more annoying for the passengesr than them, they are always happy to answer the calls :)
Interesting exploration of the Singapore Airlines fleet. I love the fact that they have all types, from both Boeing and Airbus. Will you do similar fleetwide video for Malaysia Airlines too? Latest in the news is that they will be replacing their A330s, but no mentioned of which aircraft type.
Was a bit disappointed that SIA's economy seats in its 772s got only a half-baked upgraded in 2011, with its seats re-upholstered to the 2006 design & its screen enlarged from 6.4" to 9", but still not a widescreen & still running mostly on the 2003 IFE system (from Wisemann I think, & the 1st in SIA to offer video-on-demand), which has since been updated in 2006, 2013 & 2018. Also even in 2015 I heard that SIA still used angled-flat business class seats (which were intended for mid-haul flights) in a 2-2-2 config on some thinner long-haul flights e.g SIN-IST

Singapore Airlines should place an order for 8 A350-1000s and options for 7 more as an interim measure to cover for delays over the deliveries of their 777-9s. The A350-1000 can start by replacing part of the 777-300ER fleet on high-density routes HKG/SFO, NRT/LAX, LHR, CDG, FRA and DXB until the 777-9 can be delivered. Once the 777-9 is delivered the A350-1000 would be relegated to low-density routes.
