    She's insecure because her "perfect man" forces her to look at herself and her shortcomings in the mirror. She's never done that involuntarily, which is uncomfortable. And, like a small child, she runs in the opposite direction of pain and probably takes it out on him in ways that will only grow her resentment towards him and, as a result, towards herself. After my divorce, I met a girl who fooled me again. The first year was perfect and she was an amazing girlfriend. She had dinner ready for me when I came home from work, helped me out around the house and I provided for her in return. I truly thought we would have a family together, mainly because she said that's what she wanted with me and her actions backed that up. She was a college educated, intelligent, conservative white girl who seemed to have good values. Then, she abruptly left me for a coworker guy who had at least 5 kids by 4 different baby mamas, was a gang member with the Bloods, was a literal pimp and had spent half his life in jail. He hooked her on coke and other drugs to gain emotional control over her. I'm pretty sure he ended up pimping her out. His first major crime was that he murdered an 81 year old man when he was 16 and it was before being tried as an adult was a big thing so he got off lightly. I don't think I have to mention his race. After that mindfuck of a relationship, I will never date again. My marriage was equally as ridiculous in other ways.

      Dude.. All that means, is “right now I want more of your attention”, but that is just how she feels right now, and if you give her what she wants, she will soon get bored, and her priorities will change, or she’ll be comparing herself to other people, and she’ll be right back to stressing about money and wanting a better lifestyle and making you feel like it’s not enough.
      The solution is to ignore women when they say stuff like that. If you want to start another business, do it. Give her enough attention to sustain the relationship, rather than the amount of attention she is asking for, and stay focused on YOUR goals. It will serve you both in the long term.

After she broke up with me, I realized she was in love with love. She was a woman who was in love forever every time. I'll bet there are a lot of them like that out there.

    • @adamgriffith873
      @adamgriffith873 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow. This is a super interesting comment to me.
      At least two girls I dated that I had an intense relationship with could be described as such.
      They would acknowledge time and again that I was the best man they had ever met, even said the word "perfect" a handful of times about me...but I never *quite* got all I wanted out of them emotionally and in how they expressed themselves..sex was fine but a little hot and cold thanks to them being under stress and loving to vent, play victim - more than feel sexy etc.
      But it was confusing cause, I know they gave more to me more than any other man they'd ever met or dated. And they were more loving, laughing, fun, and down to earth compared to the average biddy.
      Still...about half the time they seemed distracted. And there were times they pulled back with the worst timing ever. Certain days they wouldn't want me naturally leading them to be more confident, sexy or something else they were otherwise total cool with before. On those days they'd say I was "too pushy" when I know they also hated men who were too shy and didn't know how to push smoothly/carefully as I did.
      The "pushy" criticism, and me having healthy boundaries for our relationship (that they agreed to or liked as much as I did from the jump)...were the only things they could think to level at me as complaints at all. And those were rare complaints, cause they generally preferred I stay happy and non-judging of them and nagging BS, etc.
      So I always knew something was wrong but couldn't figure it out... Now I think it is what u said.. they were in love with love, more than me directly or 100%..
      Maybe they always loved me like 75 or 85 percent but that missing percentage was annoying, didn't make sense, and ultimately made them f' up a lot of good moments/potential.
      They would have gotten more of what they wanted out of men and me, if they had let go the final percentage but they just couldn't conform totally or let go. I can agree there is a side to them that will think they are right and maybe regret very little...(idk, been completely no contact on my side since dumping them)
      But yeah it's what u said plus immaturity.. plus they didn't know what healthy love looked like.. plus they probably needed attention overload to be satisfied (like to just remain on the phone with them all night/every night)..but I was never gonna do/be that part (again and they knew it from the jump...oh well)

    • @adamgriffith873
      @adamgriffith873 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @RexJacobus-bb1vw great comment. But what's sad of course is that a man can't be there for them non-stop, on the phone all night every day, or giving all their random female emotions everything they ever dreamed the instant they randomly feel it...
      I mean, no human can do that. We all have to have life. And everyone needs to do a lot of things in peace and in private to even become attractive physically/financially in the first place.
      Then u have the fact that females also get turned off if you seem TOO available, TOO thirsty, or TOO romantic even. They don't want a simp who fawns all over them like a floating hummingbird...but they don't really want an alpha who is so strong they have to live up to his higher standards or be dropped like a toilet-seat with little forgiveness...
      So what they ultimately want is to just "trick" a man. Make a good man fall in love so he has blind-spots to her weaknesses. Or try to improve a generous man to being more studly/stoic. Or make a studly guy be less cheap and controlling (outside the bedroom).
      It barely makes any sense ever and it's a miracle and relationship ever works super long-term.
      Girls love when u command and control them to the best orgasms and sexual performance of her life in the bedroom...but God help you if you suggest her communication skills or something else she be adjusted or improved outside of that.
      Lord help us all.

    The woman whom Rich cites is uncomfortable, not because the man is “perfect,” but because she implicitly senses the degree of effort that keeping him will require of her. Feminism has beguiled women into thinking they can have it all without effort, and that’s an utter fantasy. The woman is slowly learning that a productive and successful life takes constant effort, and that poses a fundamental psychological conflict in her worldview. And no, it’s not at all in women’s DNA to seek out powerful, productive and successful men; it’s only in their views of life and reality that they form and adopt as they enter adulthood which motivate them to do this, and the fact that not all women do that is more than sufficient evidence to show that it is not “in the blood.” Rich’s citation of the corrupting influence of feminism confirms that it is philosophical, not genetic.

    It’s as psych-hacks put it, women don’t see value in the past. Everything you do for them if not deposited into a bank of gratitude in their minds. The only thing that matters is what you do for them today, and what they expect you to do from them in the future. Without gratitude, you can never be happy or fulfilled.
    Women who say they are happy, have to gaslight themselves into believing they are happy. That’s why women cannot take accountability, they don’t see past actions as actions or consequences.

    I have a question, I have dated many women, and I have noticed a pattern when it comes to female behavior. A lot of times what they do is they go into self-sabotaging behavior. So let’s say I’m with a girl, and I tell her “hey listen, I don’t want you to go out partying with your girlfriends because I don’t like you being in that scene.” That same week she will go do it, as if they are trying to challenge me. Obviously after that I stop seeing that girl because it would be a lose-lose situation, some end up regretting, but it baffles me that as women, if it’s in your nature to be submissive, why go against that natural tendency and do something to hurt your significant other and risk it all for a few drinks and get hit on by a few dudes?

But that the system accommodates their demands no matter how inappropriate especially in marriage, divorce and other legal cases in the courts does. It's the system, the courts, the gov't that makes it all so unfair and difficult. Avoiding marriage and the system as much as possible is the best way to deal with that that I know of.

    Been following Rich Cooper for close to a decade now. Obviously a tremendous guy, but looks like he's forgetting key lessons from Rollo, Deida et al here. Women are not one-dimensional creatures who just want a provider. They also have a strong need for excitement, variation, spur of the moment experiences, yes for drama and the emotional roller coaster (obviously some more than others). Women also want guys who are relatable. This was Mystery Method 101 back in the day. Like it or not, women are the guardians of emotions and sensibility in life as Deida teaches. This is a fact of their nature. If emotions didn't matter to human life, they would've evolved away long ago. It's funny when guys keep getting surprised 'oh wow, he's a Harvard grad in high finance, makes 1M a year plays sax and piano and she's still unhappy??' If she's unhappy and not generally deranged, it most likely means some of her needs or wants are not being met. Many guys tend to get blinded by images of success, but fact is being a high achiever and being attractive to women are different things and don't necessarily overlap - often very different things, because to be that successful you're often deeply invested in following rules and conforming to expectations (especially in high academia or corporate). Chalking it all up to the feminism boogeyman sounds like a copout for not doing the analytical work to actually understand the situation.
    Bottom line If you want to have a successful relationship, you need to navigate a woman's emotions and meet all her needs. Otherwise even the 'good girls' get bored eventually. Apart for his amazing qualities and success, problem I see with @Rich Cooper is, his over-seriousness gives him a too-narrow view of life at times and he ends up missing important dimensions. There's something 'anal' there, if you'll pardon my French, like his a--hole is cramping up on overdrive and just won't relax. I'm sure I'm not the first one to notice.

    It sounds to me like she's insecure. Like she's feeling not worthy of him. Of course there are some women who just are never happy. And there are women who are damaged from childhood and bad relationships that peace feels weird. They prefer the chaos.
    But other times like in this case, it sounds like the woman is feeling intimidated by this man. Like he's got so much ambition that eventually he'll be sick of her. An example would be if a woman is into working out and fitness but the man she's with it way more into it than her. He''s built like Joey Swoll and now she's worried that she won't be able to meet his expectations. In spite of the girl boss, confidence garbage they spout, most women are deeply insecure. And a good man will make them feel not worthy. This is why so many women date losers. It makes them the "better" one. Just a thought. This may be more about her insecurity than her dissatisfaction. 😊

Learn when you need to disengage and walk away. You always want to maintain your dignity and self respect if it goes south. Know what your limits are with what she brings to the table and let her know when its inappropriate.
