I usually just play along until they get bored, I never get to attached. Let them know where the claymores are show them the the trip wires then roll with them as long as they allow. Sooner or later they trip a wire blow the relationship to bits and pieces, then try to tell me no that was just a blow up from something else. Actually had a woman I'd been dating a few months just arbitrarily tell me that I should be supportive of her need to keep "someone on her phone" that could help out if I wasn't around. I told her that basically meant that she didn't take us seriously and that she was notifying me that I wasn't the only one. She immediately claimed I'd read too much into her statement, but I didn't give her the chance to gaslight me into seeing it any different. Cut her off and laughed when she asked if we could stay "friends". No thanks. My friends don't stab me in the back and tell me I'm crazy for blaming them for doing it.

( transcripts for depositions hearings etc) for most guys marriage especially with kids is the closest thing to indentured servitude we have in modern society. I'm in my 30's and know a lot of couples that have gotten divorced since Covid. I am not attractive but I am safe, predictable and have a very good income. More than one chick has told me that the day before their wedding they asked the guy they really wanted to rescue them, meaning, the chicks would call off the wedding if the desired guys would tell them to. In both cases the chicks were rejected and they married the husbands they ended up with. Being platonic friends with a couple of females gave me invaluable insight into how women really work behind the scenes. I knew the men these married women were cheating with, how they cheated, when, and where. It gave me insight and a heightened level of distrust. As a man who was a settle in a marriage i cannot tell men how serious this topic needs to be taken. When i was engaged to my ex wife many moons ago i sold a home for considerable profit. I told her in pride and her reply was her ex boyfreind earns that now as an oncologist every year. not every few years like me. If i new then what i new know i would have walked out that day. She brought nothing in and spent most of my money and left with half of what was left and she thinks i was the settle. lol

Yep unfortunately we all go through that to varying degrees. The problem is especially in today's hard times not every man will be able to bounce back from this. Men really need to take heed and avoid this in the first place.

I broke up with a girl a few months ago, she basically ruined it right off the bat by wanting to have sex on our second date. I lost all respect for her. I kept it going for a few months (and respectfully did not look around for anyone else in this time), while I figured out how to proceed, I know I should have had the balls to just end it, but there was a comfort level there that was enjoyable. I quickly realized though, that she was not for me and she could feel me pulling away, so we had a pretty amicable break up, and within less than a week she already was dating someone else. While I admit I might be several women's back up plan over the years, and I am totally blue pilled, and I know I've been the topic of "he's just a friend" conversations, I call BS.
