Thank you for a wonderful Saturday morning carving catch up. Beautiful work Brian!
You are more than welcome Wilpoe, l love sharing with you all.
The design is absolutely brilliant how it complements the twists and curves of the timber👌 you never cease to amaze me 🤯
Thank you Dave, out in Oregon they call these windknots and now I see why. It’s got such great movement in it.
@@StockmanOriginal also possible that the structure is built up by the tree being hit by winds, forcing it to bulk up the support of its branches 🤔
Bloomin’ ell! She’s a looker Brian! You may not want to let her go. Can’t wait to see the finished item!
The Beginning of another journey. Thanks for sharing! Impeccable as usual! KANSAS

Good burrs and a Foredom go a long way to getting a job done.
You got that right about that, l use mine so much.

Thank you Janson.

Thank you so much Rushchaser!

Thank you Sheepdog
How often do you have to sharpen your tools in material like that?
Hi Ashley! It’s not too bad but this has been floating around in the ocean and all it’s sand for a long time though. So far it’s been pretty good.
Just occasionally it would be lovely to be able to see something through someone else’s eyes. Even with the face drawn I still only see a piece of wood but obviously you don’t? It’s looking good though.
Thank you my friend, yeah this is a pretty cool piece to be working on. It’s going really good so far! 🤔
