Now that Cuba is going through this crisis created by hurricane Ian, there are some who are doing everything to make a bad situation worse. Those are the same people who believe this blockade is working now and the more suffering, the better, as Cubans will revolt, and chaos will reign in the country. They will declare Cuba to be a "failed state" and call for a US military invasion of the island. That is what some in Miami have in mind and they do not hide their desires/intentions. I hope the normalization process between our two countries can be reactivated, but I'm not optimistic. Everything was reversed under Trump and Biden has continued the same policies. Taking Cuba out of that "terrorist sponsoring country" list, as the new Colombian president has asked, would be a step in the right direction.

Thanks for this informative, comprehensive interview, touching issues of global concern and pertaining to US Cuba policy and US Cuba relations. Constructive US-Cuba relations can only benefit Cuba, the U.S. and the region.

Unfortunately this was not an interview. No interchange between Bruno and Rania. The regime hasto learn that they must make changes as do the US.In the case of Cuba a realisation that there must be freedom of expresion and the oportunity to vote. The represion exhibited again in the last few days is a stain on the country.

respect to the people of somalia and others effected by this. The united states did not begin the blockade because of this and the blockade has not been maintained for this reason. Cuba deserves to be free to trade with its neighbors and internationally without the threat of us intimidation and interference.
