Nice Project! Are you going to keep it or Flip It? The Small truck mirrors are my favorite. I have a 68 and 69 f250 short box Crew Cabs, and a 70 f250 Sport Custom long bed. Thankfully all mine have all the bells and whistles pwr steering, discs, automatic, A/C and Have had them a very long time. The 69 crew is ready for extensive body work, lotsa rust, no dents at all, just lots of use since purchase 445k it's 2wd and my favorite drove it daily for 39 years! Glad to hear your bride is gonna claim it. Ps I may consider trade on my 70 grill for a 69 idk bout that for sure but 67-69 are my favorites! The 70 grill is almost perfect! Truck is too. Enjoy the ride, truck has lots of Good to it! Thanks for the Video. Makes me want to start a tube channel for my projects and toys. Seems could be fun,

I have been thinking about starting a TH-cam channel on my 70 f100 short bed truck that has been sitting for 20 years now. I really want to get it back on the road running.
It looked a lot like Matt's 69 ranger.

@@christophertaylor2464 my 69 has been resting and dying for last 10 yrs also! Long story, it's my 69 shortbed crew cab! My Favorite. Also thinking of You Tube and frame off rebuild, rust inured and all repairs. In House project. Working on particulars recently and how to best use my time.

What do you think we should do with it? Modern driveline or more of an original build?

What was the purchase price? You said you got a good deal. I’m going to look at one Friday no idea what would be a good deal.

@@mattsgarage6670hi Matt I just came across your channel I saw a short video on your 70 blue truck.
And because I have a 70 Short bed I just had to subscribe and then I see this 69 ranger and it looks all most like mine did when I got it back in the late 1990s.
Same paint same mirrors I love those big mirrors and all most the same grill mine does not have that center part and it is beat up but I still love that grill all aluminum one piece over that 70 three pieces like the one on your blue truck I never have liked that grill.
Before I read your comment on what you paid for your 69 ranger I was thinking if you paid less than 5,000 you got a good deal.
Me on the other hand got a really really good deal on my truck I paid 5 hundred dollars and I drove it home and all over central Texas for a while.
The sad part of all this is it has been sitting in the same spot for 20 years now and I really want to get it back on the road running.
These trucks have become very popular I watched the show gas monkey garage on discovery channel build one of these trucks and sell it for
      50,000 dollars at auction.
I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
