I just can’t believe the price changes and then to release 3 out of 5 characters without voice lines? Is this the first time they’ve done that? Because it’s really obvious and jarring and just overall pretty shit
Between the additional monetization and the lack of voice acting going forward, this season is absolute garbage.

I get first through third every race and just started yesterday. I don't think too many older players are playing this game. It's all newer players and why I'm easily coming in first through third.

Player base is dying and dying fast, youre rarely going to be in a race with just real players anymore, Either gameloft change their business strategy or theyll lose their player base all together. This should of been a £40 price tag game with no microtransactions or F2P and cosmetic only microtransactions, Mario Kart will always be king of arcade kart racers because they do things the right way

They have fully switched the way they develop games to only target whales. We simply don’t mean anything to the publishers anymore, they farm whales directly! Which means games that possibly could’ve had great development have to be fully designed and have time and assets directly poured into research and manhours of developments of cheap cosmetics that only 1% or less of people are going to cave in and but, and they genuinely don’t care if only 10 people play their game as long as they buy the entire store every day 😂

Feels like people who are complaining are F2P players who unlocked everything for free, they want the game to stay the same, so they can continue to unlock everything for free in the future.
False, even founding players and whales are complaining. Ive been playing since early access launch and have spent over $400 on speedstorm because i really enjoyed it and dont mind supporting a game i love. However gameloft and their devs are destroying the game with all these greedy changes they are making. I wont be spending another penny on this game unless they change their greedy practices.
@@Assh8812 why are you spending so much money? I am F2P, started from Aladdin season, I am not even a good racing game player, yet still unlocked many characters easily. Compare to asphalt 9 legends, which is impossible to enjoy for F2P, this game is too easy, that’s why they make changes because it’s not possible to make enough money if everything stay the same going forward.
@@Assh8812 Yeah, supporting a game you love is cool, but you should never spend that much on a game. It's people like you that keep microtransactions going. You're literally giving them free money and people like you will never stop giving them free money.

there are a number of gachas that release "offline" versions at the end of their lifespans. i don't play enough gacha to be able to give a comprehensive list, but i think megaman x dive is one.
there might be some distinction between "live service" and "gacha" that i'm not aware of, though.
