My first ever Porter Robinson concert, I’ve been a fan for almost 5 years now, and I’m so thankful to be able to go and listen and experience one of his concerts
@@FLOABCN we got sooooo lucky, the layout is “lame” and doesn’t have a pit, and has a high angle of attack on the seats, and there were only 2 people in front of me! It’s like the audio was shotgunned straight into our ear holes ☺️
Between year of the cup and followed by the intro of phrases in the screen for ITRNH had me BAAWWLLLING my eyes out. I lost my mother 3 years ago and i remember one of the last things music-wise i was excited to talk to her about was Porter Robinson. When the words "do you remember the last time you're mother held you" came up, i was flooded with tears of both grief and happiness ❤
I can finally say I WAS HERE AT THIS SHOW!! MY FIRST PORTER SHOW AND IT WAS DAMN NEAR BIBLICAL! not even kidding I cried 3 times, was astonished at his freestyling on Sad Machine, every bit was so amazing.

If the artist doesn't have a full audio line-in recording, I gotta make it for myself. I record so I can hear the audio later in peace. If I could have it my way, I would never attend a single live non-classical concert.
Commentary: Apologies its slightly out of sync! There were 4 videos with different vertical flip orientations so I threw it all into Premiere and it desynced. I dont have a great solution to that and its 80gb so retrying it till I get it right is not really feasible. You may be wondering, hey, Chris Carl, why go to all of these concerts? When it was first announced I thought it would be a LOT of fun to see the differences between Day 1 and 60, and there are several differences to be had! Some of the key differences include 1) MGMT Kids cover added to the setlist 2) 'Trying to Feel the Sky' morphs into a Nurture medley section, (the band gets to sit down during the medley, they havent always gotten that privalege) 3) lots of NEW harmonies where appropriate throughout the set! etc A few problems with this one--I tried buying a beer but then I heard the intro song and RAN back, I put the phone down during MGMT Kids to appeal to Porter's sense of 'vibes', I accidentally pressed lock on the phone during TTFA T____T--other than that, perfect! Enjoy the aftershow scramble for setlists and guitar picks!!! This may be the BEST (audio-wise) recording that I've ever gotten going on this world tour. I'm a happy camper :) I did show up for the Wheatland/Sac show but I intentionally did NOT record it! I raw dogged the shit outta that one, I'm so sorry to everyone for my yelling and jumping. Honestly, clicked on this thinking it was the St. Louis, MO one without reading the full title haha. I don't really care. Same setlist but minor differences because nobody is perfect. I just know St. Louis crushed Minneapolis' record for the longest Unfold chorus. I don't remember the exact duration we held it for, but I think it was like 50-70 hours? Around that range. Thanks for the upload though! Also when the pink cat deflated between albums, the entire crowd in St. Louis was like "NOOOOOOOO"
I'm afraid that if I ask my boss for vacation on the 31st that it'd be too sudden and I wouldn't get approved but I want to go to the one in oregon SO BAD. But unfortunately I work nights TOT

Dunno if it's just an app or iPhone thing but none of the recordings of this concert on YT have any bass. My old Galaxy Ultra has shitty footage on the lawn but better audio. So sad there's no way to fully relive the moment. 😭

Damnit, slightly out of sync, I stopped/restarted recording before/after MGMT kids, accident during TTFA, so there's 4 clips, they were vertical flipped, so I put it through Adobe Premiere, I dont have a great solution to fix it other than trying/retring constantly and its 80gb... :/

This is funny, just saw the Seattle show which was the last in the North America tour and it ended with 65 hours of unfold chorus
