I've been discovering my gender identity for like 8 years, and the thought of being called 'mom' and embodying all that a child needs of a mom brought me to joyful tears. I knew then, more accurately than ever, where I fall on the gender spectrum. And then the first words of 'Miracle': "I've been trying to be every man you saw in me, but in my eyes they just flicker out and blur like ghosts." meant something way different for me than for you. And then the rest of Miracle played, and Gonna Be Good, and Shelter. It all struck me with a new clarity about what the future meant. And it's gonna be Good.

Nearly two months have passed since I was lucky enough to see this show live, and I think it's safe to say, this is the best show I've seen at Red Rocks, and I've seen some crazy fucking shows. I've seen Porter, I've seen Deadmau5 cube v3, I've seen Subtronics, I've seen Rezz, and this takes it. This was a spiritual experience like no other, and it makes me so excited to see what is in store for us in the next era. Just hoping for a Red Rocks show that isn't nearly as cold next time around lol

Hugo always said he looked up to Daft Punk as inspiration. I think we can all agree that what DP's original Alive show at Coachella did for setting the bar, Hugo is following in their footsteps. I've been a massive fan of his music for a while - but this show with the live edits, performance, attention to detail and visuals. Nobody else is doing it at this level!
