@@WavyBoats OH!!! Now I remember, Alfred did a video at the show onboard the 58 footer and this boat was tied up next to it! It's built with all aluminum, and the 58 has a door on the side of the hull that opens for a lil tender!
The footage from 0:37 to 2:05 really illustrates the evolution of the sport boat market over the last few years, from where it was to where it is going.
4:28 ... This young lady Captain did an awesome job piloting her boat. Her passengers probably have an unrealistic impression of how rough that inlet is.
I like the Jeanneau brand, but it looked like the leader really struggled. I wonder if the nc1095 would do any better. Has a different hull design and outboards.
It’s cool to see some of the captains of the boats navigate thought the waves but some of them don’t try and make it through the waves easily they end up taking a beating
Is it me or is the whole right floatation ring on that rib flopping around? And the guy with the Sea Ray Laguna center console, he's too busy holding on to the t top instead of working the throttle, then a wave overtakes him! Good thing he has a full euro transom, lol
Hi! I'm a Costal Engineering student and I like your videos so much! I was wondering.. it seems waves are much bigger at the inlet than offshore (but not to far..) Are the breakwaters badly designed or are there other circumstances that influences waves at the inlet?
@@WavyBoats That is a very unique hull design that parallels the Van Dutch of which I haven't figured out if it's a planning hull or a semi displacement hull .

Has anyone on their PWC ever been run over by the boats as they come and go under a "full head of steam?" Some of those troughs are so deep, we lose sight of some of the boats and especially the PWC's.

What did you guys think of the Vanquish Vq45 handling the waves?
Some other new channel was calling it a Pardo lol. I thought it did great in the waves. Seemed like every one was dry.
I first thought it was a VanDutch but wasn't 100% sure, It seemed like it did ok and looks like a heavy boat. Any Idea what one of those cost?
