Hey man just a heads up this is an eagle ray, not a stingray. A stingray would rarely be in this depth and if he was he would stay on the bottom as they are bottom dwellers. Spotted eagle rays on the other hand are open ocean swimmers and love leaping 6ft out of the water all the time, they also have a noticeable shape difference compared to stingrays.

@@WavyBoats ofc, yup these guys get huge an can be huge and up to 500 pounds. I live in the keys and they are everywhere here. They actually don't have "stingers" and you are more likely to be hurt from on jumping out and landing on you, which I have actually seen happen.

I don’t think the boat hit him at all, I think it’s instincts made it dive straight down their for I think the props missed him too! You could see it turn and dive in slow mo!

Cracking boats. The price of fuel here makes multi engine rigs impractical. But maybe we should all be using less fuel? Ribs are a lot less weight and consequently need less power at the back. One reason i like them. Also incredible lateral stability and buoyancy.. . . .

I did however post it on instagram and facebook which is where you most likely saw it. Many people also shared it. I thought it was about time I shared it with the youtube audience.
