hey Talented Ashish I m bit confused to differentiate between a linking verb n stative verb like, "You look tired" . here look is stative or linking verb?
Sir is there any diffeence between object of a action verb or stative verb? I clean this place ( action is acted upon place) I like this place (no action but still place is object of like)
Believe shouldn't be used in ING form. Stand can be. It's an action verb. Here's my second channel where I teach English through Hindi: th-cam.com/channels/cVmLWFdOpMD4jRsCW3CsaA.html
In the third sentence, the main verb is BEING, which is a dynamic verb. MEAN is an adjective that modifies the subject. Apart from this, you got all of them correct. 🤚
Hi Ashish Bro, Not hating, but those dangling notes at the bottom and those dated, powerpoint-styled listings are only distracting from learning anything and give me a dizzy.
You - Subject. Look - stative verb. Cute - adjective. When you sneeze - time. She - subject. Doesn't care - stative verb. About the results - noun phrase. You - subject. are being - dynamic verb ( normally, you won't but now you are) Mean - complement/adjective? Right now - time

I am understanding the problem to work...i think it is right coze here the activity is going on
To understand is a state, not an action. We don't and shouldn't use it in continuous forms.
@@EnglishWithAshish : I think there action is going with work,I think might be correct
@@EnglishWithAshish but ashish it may be use in informal language , not in formal

No, the nature of the verb is the only difference.
can we use belive in ing form??
and stand?? when to use standing and when stand??
Believe shouldn't be used in ING form. Stand can be. It's an action verb.

Make video on
linking verb
Please refer to this lesson: th-cam.com/video/wJwBCG13KKg/w-d-xo.html
For example,I am having a car =here activity is not going when we use like this ,I am having fun =the activity is going it is correct
The first one is incorrect. The second have means 'experience'
