I never really entertained the idea of river cruising...not really a US thing...more European...but after your videos I'm hooked!!! Sign me up!!! Wake up, hike through the woods, sail to another destination and explore...all in one day!!! Marvelous!!!
We are just home from an eight day river cruise on Uniworld’s river Duchess we were the only European couple on board, apart for a few Antipodeans, 95% of the passengers were from the USA so it’s very much an American thing. ☘️🇺🇸

I just got back from an 8 day Rhine Getaway cruise on Viking. My husband and I LOVED it! I dont think I will ever do an ocean cruise again! It was that great! I lived Rudesheim. We did not get a chance to do the sky lift. Can't wait to see your next episode!

Planning back to back river cruises for 2025, first the Viking Grand European tour on both the Rhine and Danube rivers then join the Viking British Isles tour. May as well take a good month after having to fly so far from Australia.
Oh wow this type of cruising looks so relaxing and the food is fabulous . I would love to try a river cruise but as I’m in a wheelchair, I’m not sure if I could join in on the excursions ? Did u see any disabled passengers by any chance ?!

Oh that gondola 😂 My son and I did a chairlift in Tennessee in the Great Smokey Mountains 💀 absolutely terrified us both😂 can't wait for episode 3!

They are so you can hear your guide as you walk around. We didn't always need them just when it was larger groups.
