I love this!! I have similar texure/waves to yours. I'm on month 3 of wearing my hair wavy. Frizz is definitely my #1 issue so I was wet styling only. Was having a problem with products being too heavy ect...I tried damp styling for the first time yesterday and had so much less problems with product heaviness ect.... would love to see your newest damp styling wash day routine.

Thank you for watching! Yesss I love damp styling. It has its own set of problems to watch out for, but my wash days are so much easier in terms of time, product usage, etc lol I'll definitely try to film an updated damp routine soon! 😀

I have found through lots of trial and many, many errors that damp styling works better for me as well. P.S. I am also a wavy with a few random ringlets.

I do think my hair looks slightly better when wet styled, but the difference is miniscule in the end. That's why I'd rather just damp style lol it's sooo much easier and cuts down on drying time

I started using sulfates more often now due to hair loss that I think was caused by what you were taking about - product on my scalp, then also not using sulfates to remove it!
    Your hair looks great!

Thank you! Tbh I think everything in moderation is okay. Everyone has different hair textures and scalp needs/issues. I think learning how to use products correctly and understanding when to use them is the most important thing.
I'm sorry you had to deal with hair loss! I just lost a lot of hair due to covid (the stress of it all), and I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

Your curl pattern has already improved a lot! I dry brush, too. I will coat the ends of my hair with a light hair oil and coat any dry areas. Then I’ll dry brush the oil through my hair and put it in a lose bun. The next day I’ll gently shampoo my hair. It acts like an oil treatment, but washes out easily. I’ve tried a lot of oils and they are usually all too heavy for my hair type...except for Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair rose hip oil. If you haven’t tried it and are looking for a light, but nourishing hair oil you need to try it out! It’s my favorite now. Plus it smells lightly like roses and their products are good quality.

Thank you ☺️ I'm an oil junkie lol so I'll definitely look for the Briogeo one. I hear their deep conditioning mask is awesome too! I like to scalp massage with an oil (dry scalp girl over here ✋) and then I'll dry brush and put it in a bun like you do.

@@tiffanymcnerlin157 it is a good mask from that same line! I feel it’s a lighter weight deep conditioning mask with a bit of protein. Have you tried L’Oréal Wonder 8?

Noooo I haven't even heard of it! But I'm down to try anything from the drugstore lol I'm actually almost out of my deep conditioner so I'm looking around for new stuff

@@tiffanymcnerlin157 you should try it! It’s super inexpensive. It’s a liquid you rub into your hair for 8 seconds. It has a lot of moisturizing ingredients and a little protein without the weight. It makes my hair silky. I love that stuff.

Hi, which Wen products were those? I couldn’t see the label. Thanks. Love your channel, finally someone with hair similar to mine and common sense 🙌🏻
PS: never mind my profile pic, it’s old. I’ve shaved my head because my hair got ruined by too harsh cleansers and I didn’t want to risk going out into a salon in a pandemic. Currently I’m at about an inch in length and am looking for the right products. Maybe in the future you could make a video on your favourite products?
Pro-Tip: if anyone ever offers you a shampoo bar you should run the other way 😜 My hair is super fine and I think it actually got structural damage from a shampoo bar (it was sulphate free) but oh so harsh, there was no coming back from that. Happy Holidays 💕

Thank you for watching! I'm so sorry about your hair experience. Tbh your profile pic is beautiful and I think you would 100% be able to rock a shaved head. I do have a shampoo + conditioner bar set (Viori), and I love them but I rarely use them. I can see what you mean by it creating structural damage. I sometimes rub the bars around in my hands because they cause too much friction when sliding around on my hair/scalp.
The Wen products are their Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner (this is their OG product) and the 613 Nourishing Treatment. I had an auto-renewal system via QVC for yearsssss so I would get a nice deal on these bottles, but I have since stopped because they were piling up lol

@@tiffanymcnerlin157 Thanks for the quick response, I think I’m going to try New Wash instead of Wen.
