- This is part 5 of our series where we dine at all of our favorite Walt Disney World Resort restaurants to see which we think is the best. At the end we count down our top 5 BEST restaurants at the most magical place on earth.
This video focuses on our experience at Narcoossee's. Situated on the man-made Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, specializing in seafood and boosting some of the best views of Cinderella's Castle along with Magic Kingdom Park. About a year ago this restaurant went through an extensive refurbishment that brought to life a more aquatic based aesthetic.
During our last experience here we were impressed with the cuisine quality and atmosphere. However, out of all the restaurants on our list this is the spot we've dined at the least. We were interested to see if the quality remained consistent. During our time here we show off their entire menu, try out some of Narcoossee's signature options and decided whether we think this truly is the best restaurant on Walt Disney World property.

The Narccoosee's cheesecake is the best we have ever had!!! 🍰 But yes the chocolate breach from Fly Fish was the best of all time.
To me, that Cheesecake is probably 2 or 3 of all time. If you're ever in LA, Musso & Frank Cheesecake is my favorite. It's NY style and I'm big on Cheesecake having a great crust which it does. The Breach needs to return!
Hi TPF's 🎉 What an awesome, fun series. I had to go back and watch the Topolino's video again. They all look delightful and posh. The ocean charcuterie from here had me at hello. I don't eat meat, so most charcuterie boards are not the best choice, but I love the concept. Love the leader board. You should have one for quick service and casual dining places, too. Keep Disney on its toes.

The only one we never ate at was flying fish. But this is a very hard top five because I loved my meals at every single one. I do agree, though I think Topolino is the best, especially if you’re there during the Epcot fireworks.
It was hard- they each have something that the other doesn't IMO. Topolino's I think has the most positives :)
VSOP = Very superior, old, pale. It's not a word but rather an abbreviation.
XIII = 13. X = 10, I = 1.
In cognac, you may also come across XO, which means extra old.
Thus concludes our lesson in high-end liquor speak and Roman numerals.

I love scallops sooooo much so I'm glad to see that Jay ate it. All those flavors are my jam. The seafood charcuterie is so different too. And the almond cheese cake sounded devine! Loved this series, they're always so fun.
It was so hard to pick!! We can eat wherever 😊 just happy to be in your company! You need to try the cheesecake, it’s easily a top 5 WDW dessert. Wish we had more time & money for more series like this 😂

Fellow Long Islander here! We love Yachtsman at Yacht Club. We know it’s not for everyone but it’s a must go on every trip for my husband and me! Narcoossee is our other favorite though for sure! Also go there every trip!
Hello former neighbor 🙂. We had a rough go at Yachtsman Steakhouse a few years ago. It was right after they reopened. I think they deserve another try though because we love the Yacht Club Resort too! This was only our second time at Narcoossee's and it definitely earned its place on our list.
Based on your video (and a couple of others) we were able to get a reservation during our visit to Orlando over the weekend. Wow!!! We were blown away!!! We were a little concerned that maybe nothing was going to be able to live up to the hype but that was not the case at all! It lives up to the hype one of the best meals I’ve ever had
I am so glad to hear that. We always feel nervous to hype something up because things can definitely be inconsistent here but Narcoossee's has a pretty good track record :)
We have such fond memories of Narcoossees! We got engaged there in 2016 and the staff were amazing! Of course the food is delicious there too. We hope to go back there next year 😊

Hi Both , great vlog, and really enjoyed the Top 5 Countdown series.
We managed to get a Narcoossee booking at 8.30pm on our last evening a few weeks back, and it was amazing. Being able to watch the fireworks whilst enjoying 1st class food was a perfect end to our holiday.
A tip for non fish lovers like my wife , she had the mushroom risotto as a starter and it was a 10.

Hey, great video! We loved Narcoosee’s last year. We really enjoyed Toledo at Coronado Springs resort, it was superb quality food and service, highly recommended
Toledo is great, the special they have for 2 with the steak is a great value and it's such a beautiful restaurant. We did a video on it a few months ago.

That and The Boathouse are our faves....and the thigh high chicken biscuits at Homecoming. Not as fancy as your meal in this video but very tasty. Thanks for all the content.

Awesome series! The first "fancy" dinner meal my husband and I ever had in WDW (1995!) was on our 4 year wedding anniversary at Narccoosee's. I think you made a stellar list! Out of each you tried I am most excited to try Flying Fish though. The restaurant looks so pretty inside. Topolino's was amazing when we went and Jiko is on the list for our Oct trip (with 8 people... lord help me lol)
I cannot wait to hear what you think of Citricos. We only had drinks and the mac and cheese in the bar on our last trip but I loved it! Oh Jay... my husband had the old fashioned soda orange float (he did zero proof on our monorail bar crawl as he is a zero proof kinda guy lol) and he loved it!! They have a good selection there. Excited for you both to stay at the GF. :)

I’ve always wanted to eat here and it’s never worked out. As you know we just moved here and we have our first staycation booked for a weekend in a few weeks, for our anniversary and this is where we picked to eat our anniversary dinner ❤

This is the first time I've watched one of your videos, and it was timely as I'm trying to decide btwn Citricos and Narcoosees for our upcoming trip (okay...it's in January) as we're staying at the Grand Floridian for the first time, and I haven't tried either. Your pace and descriptions are very good, and this was very clear and informative. I've subscribed - even though I still love California Grill LOL (btw this is for information NOT a criticism - Bavarois is pronounced Ba-Va-Wa)

Hey guys. Absolutely loved this mini food series. Absolutely love the "old" and the "new" Narcoosies ! We are gonna be there in Oct for Food n Wine Fest and we will have to try Topolinos for sure. Italian's here that love all good food, especially Italian food of course. The only thing that was missing was a great bottle of Caymus. Wine goes good with any meal, well maybe not breakfast. Excited to try topolinos in Nov! I have eaten at the rest and totally agree with your rankings. I will say California Grill has falling out of my top five. I was so disappointed in our meal in May. We were there during fireworks and it was not a full restaurant. Hopefully they step up their game a bit because of that.
Hope you love it!!! It’s a shame about California Grill, it used to be absolute best. Years ago it was so hard to get a reservation and now you can get one same day.
Great series! We ranked them from 1-5 Topolino, Narcoossees, Jiko, CA Grill and Flying Fish. We too are tired of prix fixe at Cali. We were not impressed with Flying Fish but will try again. We were disappointed with the seafood tower at Narcoossees. We ordered it because there were 3 of us and extra AP discount, but it was not worth the price.
We hear ya on the Cali Grill prix fixe- that restaurant hasn't' been the same since! Oh man, we've always had such great experiences at Flying Fish, but like everything else in Disney, things can be very inconsistent. Thanks for letting us know about the tower!

Thank you! We ate there on our honeymoon before we started TH-cam. It was phenomenal, but it’s so pricey that it’s hard to justify going right now. Hopefully we’ll get back there one day 😊
Love the recent content. Where would Ravello rank in this Top 5. Also would love to see some of the upscale restaurants at the Good Neighbor hotels like Bull and Bear, La Luce, Sea + Sear or Four Flamingos. Le Cellier would be fun to fit in here or Shula’s
Thank you! To me, Ravello wouldn't make the top 5 mostly because it lacks the atmosphere of the 5 we chose. I'd say food quality it's in the same league as what we chose and ranking is mostly based on preference. It may make a top 10 and we'll definitely have to do a review where we add it to the leader board one day. We've been to Bull & Bear once on our honeymoon and honestly was one of our favorite meals ever. We actually have videos on both Shula's and Le Cellier but we're most likely going to go back. We're thinking about doing top 5s and making leader boards for restaurants at each park. We'll have to add La Luce, Sea & Sear and Four Flamingos to the list!
Flying Fish is # 1. PERIOD.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that 😭 Was it food or service related ?
The service was entirely impersonal (4 different waitstaff, clumsy timing, no service really), the table was unfortunate (we had to sit next to each other in a booth as we were in the entry walkway), the entrees were lukewarm and my steak and scallops were bland. Now, the apps and desserts were fabulous (seafood charcuterie, cheesecake, pavlova) but we did not care for the bisque. It was the wrong temperature as well, so kinda stuck in our mouths, if that makes sense. We also had a bad experience with other customers angry at us for watching fireworks in front of their window and making a scene. 😢 If I went again, I’d probably just buy apps and desserts at the bar 😂 That way I’m not disappointed in service and I still get the unmatched and creative dishes.

Olivia’s cafe has amazing fried chicken. We have a review th-cam.com/video/ztnMBKS5XEA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8Lp__Q1D9XPPtXqp It’s a great spot but I’m not sure if it would be in a top 10. Menu is sorta limited and restaurant isn’t as easily accessible as others. It is very charming though, but the service has always been very slow.
Where would Toledo, yachtsman’s and shulas go on this list?
Oh man, so Toledo would probably be 6. Honestly I think food quality is higher than California Grill but I love the history, service and views from Cali Grill. I'd have to eat at Shula's again for a proper rating. They aren't on our radar mostly because we factor in theme park atmosphere a lot on the resort dining. Plus we're not big football fans. Unfortunately for Yachtsman, we had a rough experience with them after they reopened. Service wasn't great and had an issue with the food that we refrained from showing in our video. I know people love them though and Trip Advisor rates them #1 at WDW so we need to give the another try for sure.
