Yay thank you for answering us!!! I have tons of naked thralls atm because I didn’t want to mass produce vault armor if I did not need to! So happy you let us know what’s up so we can get ready and make changes or not! ❤️
Keep in mind the Aspect of the Demon now weighs 60, double what it was before. If you don't have any points in Expertise and with a reduction kit, that's about 30% of your base encumbrance now. That's a pretty substantial nerf to it.
will the equip from siptah be available in the exile lands? i heard you can get some pieces from the world event... does that include all pieces? and does follower dmg mean when you wear it, your thralls do more dmg? what armor do you want for your thralls? weapon dmg and health?
I am pretty sure the +follower damage only works on the player and not the thrall but don't hold me to that. I didn't do a detailed test, but I didn't notice an improvement when I tried it out.
Follower dmg means (equipped by you) you follower will get the damage bonus, if you want to equip your follower you'll need to equip him with +str weapon or +agi weapon damage (depending on the type of weapon he's using).
Expertise Tier 5 - Structural Integrity "Structures you build are 25% more stable" What does that mean? can you build roofpieces further from the walls? Should help with buildings with large "footprints".... Maybe.
I like the Archer Build, but you need to carry some melee weapons for those "close encoutners". I think it is important that we have some mixed armor sets to improve the players who use both Strength and Agililty weapons. I don't like be forced into an arch-type.
There are many melee weapons that are classed as Agility weapons, I did a bow/katana samurai build on Siptah on testlive with no strength and can solo every vault.
so what's the difference with aspect of the demon? its classified as a light armor but does that 60 in weight affect your stam like the other heavy armor??? and if so most heavy helmets give the about the same armor value so would it be better to rock with a fiend (just for example: same armor value lower weight) than the aspect of the demon for that armor value?
So are strength weapons better in general? It seems like you only ever get +6% SWD but only 3% AWD. Also you can't corrupt agility and all really good armors combine health and SWD, like frost giant and black knight. I didn't see a go to option for AWD while you have good ones in all armor weight classes on SWD.
There are light armors that give 6% AWD, so it is "assumed" that agility builds will go light armor and strength builds will go heavy, but there some exceptions.
So correct me if I'm wrong but no armor can ever achieve your perks (attributes), aka you will only ever have 60 points allotted into your attributes you can't have 62 with a +2 armor or 70 with something like Mask of the Witch Doctor (+10 survival). 60 will remain 60? And armor instead will only add the stats (such as damage or HP) but NOT the attribute itself that causes them?
Playing on testlive, that seems to be the case yeah. They give you buffs like extra health, stamina, x% strength-weapon damage, and so on. So far, the character feels more powerful to me with the new system, although I didn't test out current meta builds or anything like that. Just in general. The new animations also help with that, combat is much less clunky.
If you use an agility weapon, will you still get the perks from the strength tree? Or do strength perks only apply to strength weapons? (Talking about the perks specifically, not the damage)
OR just get a leveling mod to go upto get all those bars full cause alot of us play SP, official Solo, or private moded servers instead of this lack luster attribute system also bring back Survival & the Raw & bloody, & food counts as healing potion perks.
I know it's on there radar as it is very highly requested. Not sure about convincing them though haha, usually if there is enough talk about it they'll consider it
Original non thrall effected fists will do +1 in every stat on the current version of the game, It is strange how they've gutted that being a thing and streamlined it into agility/hp builds. That being said the base armour has been increased.
Everything has been nerfed, all items give what those points in a perk tree would give without the perk bonuses. So I'm not sure where this "buff" idea comes from. Not to mention segregating weapon types but still forcing pvpers into at least 4 perks in agi is just silly.
Me too, i never choose a clothing or amor because of a special stat except maybe with the Jill's glove that gives stamina regen. I almost always play buttnaked anyway. As i always max out agility i get a natural armor out of it, so no need to wear an ugly outfit to get a few percent more of this or that. If you end up like a clown wearing a mismatched outfit to get a few stats, well it's ok but you look ridiculous and it hurts my eyes 😆
The Siptah vault armors were massively OP, Gloves of the Serpent +8 Strength, Aspect of the Wolf helm +8 Strength, Void Forged Mace +5 Strength, the Shield of the Fiend +5 Strength. Just those four items were giving you 26 to strength, allowing you to allocate most of your attribute points elsewhere.
@@O-D-X Yes of course, i have played the testlive 3 a lot. that a great new features especially for consoles. But i've already done it many time by using a mod named The Fashionist. It's a great mod that allows you to do this and much more, for example you can dress your thralls on workbenches to make each profession to have it's own attire.
@@O-D-X I've played Siptah a lot but i have never crafted thoses armors. In general i'm not a fan of enchanted weapons or armors. It has always seemed weird and stupid to have a hat that gives me more strengh or speed or anything, that's ridiculous. A hat gives you shade and maybe a buff on resisting to heat or cold, i'm ok with that but otherwise it kills any logic!
Armor didn't change much....you can't really say that without doing actual calculations of a before and after. They definitely changed, we just don't know how without trying out before and after setups. TITLE: Is Siptah Armour worth it? Totally skims through the unique vault armors...the stam gloves, the greater wolfs rage...do they still work? what do they do?
Their "specialized" perk works the same as it's always have done as explained. As for what the specialized perks do, this is the wrong video for that kinda info, those items have been out for a solid year now & I've been over them in other vids before, hence the skimming over. The differences are in the weight/armour value or additional perk (such as the new strength/agility dmg) and some have not been altered/some of those 3/ none at all. The video is titled "Is siptah armour worth it anymore?" not "Is siptah armour worth it?". Big difference
@@KiahOnFireOfficial I will give a direct example. Aspect of the wolf head armor gives +8 str when above 50% health. There is no way that it still does that. Therefore we don't know what it does. Is it still worth it? Well we don't know which is why I say you skimmed over some important armor pieces.
So siptah get better armor then exiled lands thank to the delving bench :/ Also I'm like to say this but with the reworked system make legendary weapons/ armor legendary for a reason not the same as crap one can craft otherwise it's just useless junk also idk if you've found any other armor pieces with 3 buffs/ perks on it other then the helm of kraxus but that is the embodiment of legendary perfect to the 'T' on how not all legendaries, similar in a way to be made legendary.
@@KiahOnFireOfficial Maybe also the eldarium tools as well XD. Oh idk if you have tested this out yet but speccing into expertise to harvest more with magic doesn't work you still get the same amount :(
I have no problem with heavy vault and siptah delving armor nerfs... more than +3 in any stat or across multiple stats makes that piece a best in slot and makes everything else a non option. To get 4 or more there should be major draw backs like reducing others or increased stamina use etc.
capacity is so useless^^ if i farm something i get a few thousend points heavy so it dosent matter, the attributs bevor were stronger in my opinion (atleast for that exemple) the boots +10 were more worth than a flat + capacity because it made me get more points in other stuff if u know what i mean but yes it was kinda BIS items so it needet a change, but still armore with flat capacity are nothing u wannt to wear
True, but lets be honest the vault armors were OP. I can still solo run everything on Siptah because I can max 3 attributes, couldn't do that before 3.0.
@@O-D-Xyes but still capacity is useless, if u wanne fight u put on a damage armor, but for farming whats the point wearing capacity armore if u put in the point to overcumbber ^^ atleast for pve, pvp is maybe a diffrend story i dont play pvp
@@MsNazul Well the second perk in agility for melee agility weapons requires that you be a medium or light load, so +capacity would be useful for builds relying on that perk, but otherwise you are largely correct. I am just saying the bonus attributes are no longer needed to make a viable build.
You always pick the coolest music! Still delivering some of the best Conan Exiles content out there. Thanks, Kiah!
Aw thankyou! :D

thanks kiah this made me happy to see that these armors and stuff hasnt changed to much but ya the delving bench armors look super mix and match now 😃
Been wearing serpents gloves and boots with chieftain pants and vicious top. Wolf helm.
Bruh you're the only person aside from myself that uses that exact setup.
Well you are in for a shock then! But still I am very happy with the new attribute system. Just needs a few tweaks.

also the serpant glove do +6 now, where they used to do triple the stat of the redeemed legion chest.
Always dishing out that dope info for us. thanks great video
For the encumbrance build, the Boots of the Serpent are the best piece. I was get +51 encumbrance, but I don't remember if I had a T4 armorer or not.
Nice one! Yeah if you did the T4 will make a heck of a difference. Can't argue with those values though :)
hey Kiahonfire i can see you have the The Black Phalanx shield or the Maelstrom Bulwark shield ,can you tell how to get them Thanks in advance 🙂

Check its heat resistance.
It's light armor, lets you roll more.

That’s a good question. It seems the rolling thrust perk of agility still works while I’m using a strength weapon. If that helps you
What is that armour on the thumbnail? that looks badass! is that a in-game armour or is it a mod?.
Isle of siptah vault armour, wolf helmet and chestpiece
Heard rumor that we might have the outfit option so we can change the appearance of high quality armor...is that true or false?
There will be a transmog system
Can you still run an encumbrance build like you can at present? Where you can fill your inventory and still run etc?
Max expertise has the beast of burden perk that is the same as the last encumbrance perk.
Yep you can, perk shown in vid :) and some encumbrance options towards the end. Should be marked in chapters for easier finding
@@O-D-X great thanks.
@@KiahOnFireOfficial thanks, must of missed that :)
So there is a "full encumbrance" build still? Like I can still run with being encumbered
Yep there is a perk for it
@@KiahOnFireOfficial thanks mate. I play ps5 so you guys are giving us the best look of what to expect.
Fiend shield used to give +5 STR I think? Now it gives nothing?
I thought it gave +str weapon damage, but I could be wrong.
Has Frost Giant Armor changed from it's current stats in update 2.8?
Anything that gave an attribute bonus has changed.
