(5th job) Illium's gate teleport has almost 100% uptime. You put down 2-3 gates, hold up key and jav key, and watch a movie. Any map is yours with little effort. Also the gauge skills are optional in most situations, except maybe one skill during boss parties since it heals the entire party.
For the IL the stacks don't really manage themselves, should be pre-casting the zero aura drop down / spirit of snow / frozen orb / ice age before your lightning skills to maintain stacks, but not that much of a learning curve :). Also you didn't mention the 13s bind for the party bossing, if it wasn't considered it might bump the party boss up a point in your eyes? :)

And many end game players in Bera would love an Illium in their party. Phil and Tummy are out of their minds. Our 2nd Hexa Mastery alone made us disgusting. Evan does not have a good burst anymore due to being powercrept by other classes/6th job. It's actually bottom 3 for 35s burst classes. In a party, even Evans with better gear/hexa and higher lvl than rest of party will struggle to keep up with average dps classes like Luminous, IL, Lara, DB due to Evan having such poor damage output during benediction window. On the contrary, Illium is one of the strongest classes in the game. It performs in party bossing like Hkaling despite having some of the lowest end game representation and also has some of the most insane solo clears like an 81k hexa conversion xlot solo that is faster than some classes at 90k or 95k hexa. Good video overall though, it's impossible for anyone to keep up with 45+ classes especially after they all got massively changed with 6th job and 2nd mastery.
@@anonymousl5150won’t make IL stronger, just makes it feel less behind bishop. And bishop should always be strong. Never forget how they took away spammable genesis (yes I’m living in the past.)

I appreciate the efforts brotha but to fill some info gaps: illium should be higher in grinding imo, we have perm portal for farming, wings are fun aand amazing for timing looting but being able to place up to 3 tps wherever you want makes most if not all maps lazy full clears

idea: In the end you guys could do something like "If I had to choose one to main nowadays (knowing about future updates and changes), which one I would choose?" These types of videos is so helpful to newbie people that's trying to understand the game better and better, and this kind of question I brought could help even more, because It would be 3 great players opinions at once! It doesn't matter bro, meta changes after every patch and obviously there is huge change to bishop no longer being a must include support class and their solo being slightly nerfed while classes like IL gets better. Just pick what you enjoy, there is no class that is safe from being massively nerfed.
Nexon couldve just gave each class some kind of support cause now they always have to balance around certain classes rather than a baseline to clear bosses
Hey man, just a quick question, as Hayato, how do you solo Lucid? Is it just a bad matchup for Hayato in general? Im at 29m CP, and tried to solo the Normal Lucid and failed miserably. I use up keys for double jump and it might be me being stupid or my keyboard just sucking (I am replacing it soon it was a cheap $10 Walmart replacement cuz I needed it asap when my keyboard broke down b4) but my blink didn't work. How do Hayatos stay midair? Or do you just have to pick a side and hope that the dragon comes that way.
Update: I think I was just unlucky last time too many dragons early ended up killing it after getting used to it, but the batoujutsu does absolutely fucking nothing. Maybe I'm supposed to use this more like a survival tool and not a damager.
i think for evan, mobbing actually becomes pretty braindead once you get funded. you legit just stand in one place and press 2 skills together and everything dies, they also have old beast tamer fire zone and a dragon summon.
For Even I have an idea. I think maybe Nexon wants to make a new dragon theme for Nova Mage. Then like they removed the dragon knight theme and changed it to Breseker, they maybe gonna make Evam like a star and constellation theme mage.
if you're not weaving tengu properly every 3 shikis you're literally doing as low as 70% of the damage you could be doing, kanna learning curve at 3 is crazy
whoaaa you have to press two buttons? maybe by their standards it would have to be a 5 because it requires some guide reading/not entirely intuitive knowledge but weaving 2 skills is not some grand difficulty spike
learning curve is not the same as mastery or skill ceiling. We say this so many times but learning curve we just mean, how hard is it to understand how the class works, thats it

the thing is when we do get the kms patch on gms do u will think nexon will keep kanna and lynn at the same lvl as support i feel like they about to get hit so hard in turn of the fd nerf and the dmg buff like lynn of sure get hit the hard that 110 fd she get to 1 person will go down a lot and kanna her self with her dmg buff working of the hold party i think it will be hit just like bishop ben skill of sure like i know it a long way but i have a feeling it will end up this way if they keep it how kms did it
@@Duky It's not. The summons' cd and duration don't line up, grim harvest is a 50% uptime skill, meaning that it will be annoying to replace summons and you have to telecast for 50% of time if you want max rate.
ice/lightning mage has no identity, the only thing it got is being very easy to play fire/poison mage is best damage bishop (along with Lynn) is best support, but that is just going to be solo Lynn if we get the doomed balance patch two out of three explorer mages have a very clear identity which makes ice/lightning mage just barely exist as a result with no identity
because that's over 6 months away... we are just gonna make another analysis for that time period when it gets closer. Also, KMS is NOT GMS, the balance over there is not the same as it is here. We have different attack speed so something that is seemingly OP in KMS, might not be OP here. It is disingenuous to talk about what's going to be OP based off something 6 months in the future that is not even the same balance as our server
@@Duky Respectfully anything that is op in kms is op here. Just think of all the classes. Classes that benefit from attack speed are usually 10 fd at most, only the high ends are like 13-14 fd like Illium and NL.

Evan never had a good burst even before 6th job, it has always been a dpm class and only assuming optimal play which most people can't achieve.

Because the bind cooldown sucks. The class is still stronger than people think though and will only get better with bishop being pegged down.
