Very poor technique. He tied himself up when he used both hands and the opponent still has a hand free. He would be bleeding out in less than a half second.
It's a very good technique. Speed is almost always better than a pure strength. Trust me boys and girls. Check the technique again and slowly Mr. Kage or Cage or whatever you are.

BUT: I suggest you go to Maga course, and get to some higher levels, OR THE BEST OF ALL You go to Israel, and practice it with the Best of the Best. One piece of advice: forget all about "sensei" and bowing to the idols, because Maga is all about fighting, not calling demons. We have only one little bow, which means kida, and nothing else.

What LeAnn is talking about is that the basic principal of Krav Maga is to neutralize a threat as quickly and effectively as possible and escape. Tying people up in knots and controlling them isn't always the best option. What is being demonstrated here by controlling the person on the ground would maybe be great for a confined CQB scenario like being in a lift, but outside or in a communal place like a pub you're better to just eliminate the target and escape.
